Claims (1)
- 円筒状の鋼板の内周壁に耐火物を内張りしたキルン本体を回転自在に傾斜支持し、該キルン本体の上流端部に助燃バーナと木質系燃料供給手段及び木質系燃料を自燃させるのに必要な外気を供給する外気供給ファンを備える一方、キルン本体の下流端部には熱風導出ダクトを備え、キルン本体の炉内上流側の耐火物の内周径を下流側の内周径よりも拡大して段差を形成させ、該段差は前記助燃バーナの火炎先端部よりもキルン上流側位置に設け、かつ前記キルン本体の炉内上流端部には堰部を形成し、木質系燃料の熱分解に伴って発生する高温のチャー含有固形物を前記段差にて堰き止めて前記堰部との間に所定の層厚にて滞留させて自燃用の火種とするように構成すると共に、前記段差よりも下流側の耐火物の内壁面に対して長辺部及び短辺部とからなる横長の矩形凹部をキルン周方向に及び長手方向へ所定間隔にて複数刻設し、前記矩形凹部は幅広で浅底構造とし、かつ前記周方向への間隔を前記矩形凹部の幅よりも短い間隔として前記矩形凹部の面積が前記耐火物の内壁面の大半を占めるようにし、前記キルン本体の回転時に上昇する側の前記矩形凹部の長辺部側をキルン本体の傾斜方向に対して逆方向へ傾斜させるように刻設し、前記矩形凹部内の木質系燃料を持ち回りながら前記矩形凹部の傾斜に沿って落下させて木質系燃料をキルン上流側へと戻す構成としたことを特徴とする自燃式の熱風発生用ロータリーキルン。
