Description
〔粘着シート〕
本実施形態に係る粘着シートは、一の表示体構成部材と、他の表示体構成部材とを貼合するための粘着剤層を備えた粘着シートである。表示体および表示体構成部材については、後述する。
上記粘着剤層11は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)と熱架橋剤(B)とから構成される架橋構造を有するとともに、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)と、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)と、シランカップリング剤(E)とを含有する活性エネルギー線硬化性の粘着剤からなる。換言すると、上記粘着剤層11は、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)と、熱架橋剤(B)と、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)と、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)と、シランカップリング剤(E)とを含有する粘着性組成物(以下「粘着性組成物P」という場合がある。)を熱架橋してなる活性エネルギー線硬化性の粘着剤からなる。なお、本明細書において、(メタ)アクリル酸とは、アクリル酸及びメタクリル酸の両方を意味する。他の類似用語も同様である。
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)は、当該重合体を構成するモノマー単位として、熱架橋剤(B)と反応する反応性基を分子内に有する反応性基含有モノマーを含むことが好ましい。これにより、反応性基含有モノマー由来の反応性基が熱架橋剤(B)と反応することが可能となる結果、上記三次元網目構造を形成し易くなる。
熱架橋剤(B)を含有する粘着性組成物Pを加熱すると、熱架橋剤(B)は(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)を架橋し、三次元網目構造を形成する。これにより、粘着剤の凝集力が向上する。
粘着性組成物Pが活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)を含有すると、当該粘着性組成物Pを熱架橋してなる硬化前の粘着剤を、活性エネルギー線の照射により硬化させたときに、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)が互いに重合し、その重合した活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)が(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)の架橋構造(三次元網目構造)に絡み付くものと推定される。かかる高次構造を有する粘着剤は、凝集力が高く、比較的高い弾性率を示すため、耐ブリスター性に優れる。
本実施形態に係る粘着シート1において、粘着性組成物Pが、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)をシランカップリング剤(E)とともに含有することにより、粘着剤層11または活性エネルギー線の照射によるその硬化物において、柔軟性等の粘着剤のその他の特性を損なうことなく、粘着剤層11またはその硬化物の表面の密度および強度を補強することができるものと推定される。これにより、アウトガスの発生量が比較的多い表示体構成部材に粘着シート1が貼合される場合であっても、優れた耐ブリスター性を達成することができる。
本実施形態に係る粘着シート1において、粘着性組成物Pが、シランカップリング剤(E)をアルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)とともに含有することにより、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)間の架橋が促進され、粘着剤層表面の膜強度が効果的に高まるものと推定される。これにより、粘着剤層の耐ブリスター性を高めることができる。以上により、アウトガスの発生量が比較的多い表示体構成部材に粘着シート1が貼合される場合であっても、優れた耐ブリスター性を達成することができる。
硬化前粘着剤を硬化させるときに、硬化前粘着剤に対して照射する活性エネルギー線として紫外線を用いる場合には、粘着性組成物Pは、さらに光重合開始剤(F)を含有することが好ましい。このように光重合開始剤(F)を含有することにより、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)を効率良く重合させることができ、また重合硬化時間および活性エネルギー線の照射量を少なくすることができる。
粘着性組成物Pには、所望により、アクリル系粘着剤に通常使用されている各種添加剤、例えば紫外線吸収剤、帯電防止剤、粘着付与剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、軟化剤、充填剤、屈折率調整剤などを添加することができる。なお、後述の重合溶媒や希釈溶媒は、粘着性組成物Pを構成する添加剤に含まれないものとする。
粘着性組成物Pは、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)を製造し、得られた(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)と、熱架橋剤(B)と、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)と、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)と、シランカップリング剤(E)とを混合するとともに、所望により、光重合開始剤(F)および/または添加剤を加えることで製造することができる。
粘着剤層11は、粘着性組成物Pを熱架橋してなるものである。すなわち、粘着性組成物Pの架橋は、加熱処理により行う。なお、この加熱処理は、粘着性組成物Pの塗布後の乾燥処理で兼ねることもできる。
剥離シート12a,12bとしては、例えば、ポリエチレンフィルム、ポリプロピレンフィルム、ポリブテンフィルム、ポリブタジエンフィルム、ポリメチルペンテンフィルム、ポリ塩化ビニルフィルム、塩化ビニル共重合体フィルム、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム、ポリエチレンナフタレートフィルム、ポリブチレンテレフタレートフィルム、ポリウレタンフィルム、エチレン酢酸ビニルフィルム、アイオノマー樹脂フィルム、エチレン・(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体フィルム、エチレン・(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体フィルム、ポリスチレンフィルム、ポリカーボネートフィルム、ポリイミドフィルム、フッ素樹脂フィルム等が用いられる。また、これらの架橋フィルムも用いられる。さらに、これらの積層フィルムであってもよい。
粘着シート1の一製造例としては、一方の剥離シート12a(または12b)の剥離面に、上記粘着性組成物Pの塗布液を塗布し、加熱処理を行って粘着性組成物Pを熱架橋し、塗布層を形成した後、その塗布層に他方の剥離シート12b(または12a)の剥離面を重ね合わせる。養生期間が必要な場合は養生期間をおくことにより、養生期間が不要な場合はそのまま、上記塗布層が粘着剤層11となる。これにより、上記粘着シート1が得られる。加熱処理および養生の条件については、前述した通りである。
図2に示すように、本実施形態に係る表示体2は、第1の表示体構成部材21(一の表示体構成部材)と、第2の表示体構成部材22(他の表示体構成部材)と、それらの間に位置し、第1の表示体構成部材21および第2の表示体構成部材22を互いに貼合する硬化後粘着剤層11’とを備えて構成される。なお、図2では、第1の表示体構成部材21における、硬化後粘着剤層11’側の面に印刷層3による段差が設けられているが、当該印刷層3は省略されてもよい。
3−アクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン30質量部、メタクリル酸メチル30質量部、およびメタクリル酸シクロヘキシル40質量部を共重合させて、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D1)を調製した。このアルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D1)の分子量を後述する方法で測定したところ、重量平均分子量(Mw)5万であった。
3−アクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン30質量部、メタクリル酸メチル30質量部、メタクリル酸シクロヘキシル20質量部、およびアクリル酸n−ブチル20質量部を共重合させて、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D2)を調製した。このアルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D2)の分子量を後述する方法で測定したところ、重量平均分子量(Mw)5万であった。
3−アクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン30質量部、メタクリル酸メチル30質量部、メタクリル酸シクロヘキシル30質量部、およびメタクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル10質量部を共重合させて、アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D3)を調製した。このアルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D3)の分子量を後述する方法で測定したところ、重量平均分子量(Mw)5万であった。
1.(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体の調製
アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル65質量部、アクリル酸イソボルニル10質量部、N−アクリロイルモルホリン10質量部、およびアクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル15質量部を共重合させて、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)を調製した。この(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)の分子量を後述する方法で測定したところ、重量平均分子量(Mw)50万であった。
上記工程1で得られた(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)100質量部(固形分換算値;以下同じ)と、熱架橋剤(B)としてのトリメチロールプロパン変性トリレンジイソシアネート0.2質量部と、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)としてのε−カプロラクトン変性トリス−(2−アクリロキシエチル)イソシアヌレート5.0質量部と、調製例1にて調製したアルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D1)0.5質量部と、シランカップリング剤(E)としての3−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン(分子量:236.3)0.3質量部と、光重合開始剤(F)としての2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル−ジフェニル−フォスフィンオキサイド0.5質量部とを混合し、十分に撹拌して、メチルエチルケトンで希釈することにより、固形分濃度50質量%の粘着性組成物の塗布溶液を得た。
得られた粘着性組成物の塗布溶液を、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムの片面をシリコーン系剥離剤で剥離処理した重剥離型剥離シート(リンテック社製,製品名「SP−PET752150」)の剥離処理面に、ナイフコーターで塗布した。その後、90℃で1分間加熱処理して塗布層を形成した。

2EHA:アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル
IBXA:アクリル酸イソボルニル
ACMO:N−アクリロイルモルホリン
HEA:アクリル酸2−ヒドロキシエチル
アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)の種類および配合量、ならびにシランカップリング剤(E)の配合量を表1に示すように変更する以外、実施例1と同様にして粘着シートを製造した。
<測定条件>
・GPC測定装置:東ソー社製,HLC−8020
・GPCカラム(以下の順に通過):東ソー社製
TSK guard column HXL−H
TSK gel GMHXL(×2)
TSK gel G2000HXL
・測定溶媒:テトラヒドロフラン
・測定温度:40℃
実施例および比較例で得られた粘着シートの粘着剤層を、片面にスズドープ酸化インジウム(ITO)からなる透明導電膜が設けられたポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(尾池工業社製,ITOフィルム,厚さ:125μm)の透明導電膜と、樹脂板1としての、ポリメタクリル酸メチル層およびポリカーボネート層を有し、ポリカーボネート層側の面にハードコート層が設けられた樹脂板(三菱ガス化学社製,製品名「ユーピロン・シート MR−58U」,厚さ:1.0mm)のハードコート層が存在する側の面とで挟み、これをサンプル1とした。
<紫外線照射条件>
・高圧水銀ランプ使用
・照度200mW/cm2,光量2000mJ/cm2
・UV照度・光量計はアイグラフィックス社製「UVPF−A1」を使用
ガラス板(NSGプレシジョン社製,製品名「コーニングガラス イーグルXG」,縦90mm×横50mm×厚み0.5mm)の表面に、紫外線硬化型インク(帝国インキ社製,製品名「POS−911墨」)を額縁状(外形:縦90mm×横50mm,幅5mm)にスクリーン印刷した。次いで、紫外線を照射(80W/cm2,メタルハライドランプ2灯,ランプ高さ15cm,ベルトスピード10〜15m/分)して、印刷した上記紫外線硬化型インクを硬化させ、印刷による段差(段差の高さ:30μm)を有する段差付ガラス板を作製した。
<紫外線照射条件>
・アイグラフィックス社製 UVコンベア装置使用
・照度200mW/cm2,光量2000mJ/cm2
・UV照度・光量計はアイグラフィックス社製「UVPF−36」を使用
◎:気泡が全くなかった。
○:10個以下の気泡が見られた。
×:11個以上の気泡が見られた。
実施例または比較例で得られた粘着シートの硬化前粘着剤層を厚さ1.1mmの無アルカリガラス2枚で挟んで、積層体を得た。そして、実施例の積層体に対しては、一方のガラス越しに試験例1と同じ紫外線照射条件で紫外線を照射し、硬化前粘着剤層を硬化させて粘着剤層とした。
○:常温常湿に戻しても白化は確認されなかった。または一部白化したが、30分以内に消失した。
×:全体的に白化した。または一部白化した後、常温常湿下で保管しても元に戻らなかった。

Claims (11)
- 一の表示体構成部材と、他の表示体構成部材とを貼合するための粘着剤層を備えた粘着シートであって、
前記粘着剤層が、
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)と熱架橋剤(B)とから構成される架橋構造を有するとともに、
活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)と、
アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)と、
シランカップリング剤(E)と
を含有する活性エネルギー線硬化性の粘着剤からなる
ことを特徴とする粘着シート。 - 前記アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)の重量平均分子量が、1万以上、10万以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)が、当該ポリマーを構成するモノマー単位として、ホモポリマーとしてのガラス転移温度が70℃以上のハードモノマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)が、当該重合体を構成するモノマー単位として、分子内に脂環式構造を有するモノマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)が、当該重合体を構成するモノマー単位として、分子内に窒素原子を有するモノマーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記一の表示体構成部材が、厚さ0.5mm以上、5mm以下の樹脂板であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記一の表示体構成部材が、少なくとも貼合される側の面にハードコート層を有しない樹脂板であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シート。
- 前記粘着シートが、2枚の剥離シートを備えており、
前記粘着剤層が、前記2枚の剥離シートの剥離面と接するように前記剥離シートに挟持されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シート。 - 一の表示体構成部材と、他の表示体構成部材とを貼合するための粘着剤層を備えた粘着シートの製造方法であって、
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)と、
熱架橋剤(B)と、
活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)と、
アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)と、
シランカップリング剤(E)と
を含有する粘着性組成物を塗工し、熱架橋することにより、活性エネルギー線硬化性の粘着剤層を形成する
ことを特徴とする粘着シートの製造方法。 - 一の表示体構成部材と、
他の表示体構成部材と、
前記一の表示体構成部材と前記他の表示体構成部材とを互いに貼合する硬化後粘着剤層と
を備えた表示体であって、
前記硬化後粘着剤層が、
(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体(A)と熱架橋剤(B)とから構成される架橋構造を有するとともに、
活性エネルギー線硬化性成分(C)の硬化物と、
アルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(D)と、
シランカップリング剤(E)と
を含有する粘着剤からなることを特徴とする表示体。 - 一の表示体構成部材と他の表示体構成部材とを、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の粘着シートの粘着剤層を介して貼合してなる積層体を作製し、
前記積層体の前記粘着剤層に対して活性エネルギー線を照射し、前記粘着剤層を硬化させて硬化後粘着剤層とする
ことを特徴とする表示体の製造方法。
