- Coupling Device And Connection With Printed Circuit (AREA)
Description
本発明は、全般的には、接続構成に関し、特に、グルコースなど体の身体的特性をモニタするためのセンサーセット及び挿入セットにおける使用のための接続構成に関する。特に、本発明は、コネクタを有する装着ベース部又はテストプラグを含むセンサーセットのためのコネクタに関し、コネクタと装着ベース部又はテストプラグは、互いに連結するように構成されている。
本PCT出願は、2015年11月11日に出願された米国特許出願第14/938,458号と、米国出願第14/938,458号の継続出願である2016年11月9日に出願された米国特許出願第15/347,521号と、2016年9月28日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/400,987号と、の利益を主張し、これらの優先権を主張する。
近年、患者の血液及び他の体液における特異な作用物質を検出及び/又は定量化するための医学的用途を含む、幅広い用途に対して、様々な電気化学センサーが開発されている。1つの例として、糖尿病患者の血糖値の指標を得る際に使用するために、グルコースセンサーが開発されている。かかる計測値は、患者に対してインシュリンを定期的に投与することを典型的に含む治療レジメンのモニタ及び/又は調整に特に有用であり得る。この点に関して、血糖計測値は、特許文献1〜3に全般的に説明されるような外付けタイプの半自動式医薬輸液ポンプ、又は特許文献4に全般的に説明されるような自動埋込式医薬輸液ポンプと併せて特に有用である。
Claims (19)
- 遠位端に、患者の特性を表す少なくとも1つの電気信号を生成する遠位セグメント(15)を有し、近位端に遠位セグメント(15)に連接される複数の接触パッド(18)と、を有するセンサー(12)と、
遠位端に形成されたキー(50)を有する円筒形の要素(42)を有するコネクタ嵌合具(36)であって、前記キー(50)は、前記要素(42)の切り欠き部分によって画定されて、前記要素(42)の軸線にそれぞれ平行である2つの平らな表面を生成し、前記平らな表面は、互いから離れる方向に面している、コネクタ嵌合具(36)と、を備え、
前記センサー(12)の前記近位端は、前記2つの平らな表面のうちの第1の平らな表面に第1の複数の前記接触パッド(18)が前記第1の平らな表面と反対側に位置し、前記2つの平らな表面のうちの第2の平らな表面に第2の複数の前記接触パッド(18)が前記第2の平らな表面と反対側に位置するように前記キー(50)の端部を包み込み、
前記要素(42)を収容するようにサイズ決めされた管状凹部(92)を有し、前記センサー(12)の各前記接触パッド(18)と係合するように位置付けられた接触部(96)を有する、ソケット部(20)であって、前記ソケット部(20)は、前記切り欠き部分により空にされたスペースを占領する構造を有する、ソケット部(20)と、を備え、
前記センサー(12)の遠位セグメント(15)は、参照電極と対向電極と作用電極とで構成され、第1の複数の前記接触パッド(18)と第2の複数の前記接触パッド(18)とは、それぞれ参照電極、対向電極、作用電極に連接されており、
前記センサー(12)は、前記参照電極に連接された前記接触パッド(18)と対向電極に連接された前記接触パッド(18)とを短絡する短絡回路を含むこと、
を特徴とするコネクタシステム。 - 前記第1の平らな表面は、前記円筒形要素(42)の直径上に位置する、請求項1に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記キー(50)の端部は、所定のプロファイルを有し、前記管状凹部(92)の内側端部は、相補的な相互係合プロファイルを有する、請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 前記センサー(12)は、プラグ部(130)及び前記ソケット部(20)が係合した場合、前記ソケット部(20)に連結された機器をテストするためのテスト回路を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のコネクタシステム。
- 患者の特性を検知するためのセンサーセットであって、前記センサーセットは、請求項1〜3に記載のコネクタシステムを備え、
前記センサー(12)は、近位端における前記接触パッド(18)と、遠位端及び中間区画(24)における検知構造と、を有する、医療センサーを含み、
前記円筒形要素(42)は、患者の皮膚に装着するために動作可能である装着ベース部(30)の一部として形成され、前記医療センサーの前記中間区画(24)のパススルー受容のための中央孔(44)を有する、センサーセット。 - 請求項4に記載のコネクタシステムを含むテストプラグを更に備える、請求項5に記載のセンサーセット。

患者の特性を表す少なくとも1つの電気信号を生成するための、遠位端に遠位セグメント(15)を有するセンサー(12)であって、前記センサー(12)は、近位端に少なくとも2つの接触パッド(18)の組を含み、前記少なくとも2つの接触パッド(18)の組は、それぞれ前記遠位セグメント(15)から前記電気信号を受信するように、前記遠位セグメント(15)に連結されている、センサー(12)と、
患者の皮膚に装着するために動作可能である装着ベース部(30)であって、前記装着ベース部(30)は、前記装着ベース部(30)の概ね後端部にコネクタ嵌合具(36)を含み、前記コネクタ嵌合具(36)は、前記センサー(12)の一部のパススルー受容ために内部に形成された中央孔(44)を有する円筒形要素(48)を含む、装着ベース部(30)と、
前記装着ベース部(30)に連結するように動作可能であるコネクタ(20)であって、前記コネクタ(20)は、前記装着ベース部の前記コネクタ嵌合具(36)を受容するようにサイズ決めされた管状凹部(92)と、前記装着ベース部(30)が前記コネクタ(20)に連結された場合、前記センサーの前記少なくとも2つの接触パッド(18)の組に電気的に連結されるように動作可能である少なくとも2つのコネクタ接触部(96)の組と、を含む、コネクタ(20)と、を備え、
前記コネクタ嵌合具(36)は、一端に形成されたキー(50)を含み、前記センサー(12)の前記近位端は、前記少なくとも2つの接触パッド(18)の組のうちの少なくとも1つの組が、前記キー(50)の第1の側に存在し、前記少なくとも2つの接触パッド(18)の組のうちの少なくとも1つの他方の組が、前記キー(50)の第2の側に存在するように前記キー(50)の周りで折られ、
前記センサー(12)の前記遠位セグメント(15)は、参照電極と対向電極と作用電極とで構成され、前記キー(50)の第1の側の前記接触パッド(18)の組の各接触パッド(18)と前記キー(50)の第2の側の他方の前記接触パッド(18)の組の各接触パッド(18)とは、それぞれ参照電極、対向電極、作用電極に連接されており、
前記センサー(12)は、前記参照電極に連接された前記接触パッド(18)と対向電極に連接された前記接触パッド(18)とを短絡する短絡回路を含むこと、
を特徴とする、センサーセット。 - 前記コネクタの前記少なくとも2つのコネクタ接触部は、圧縮型ピンである、請求項7に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記圧縮型ピンは、前記装着ベース部が前記コネクタに連結された場合、前記キーの前記第1の側及び前記キーの前記第2の側の中に圧縮される、請求項8に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記センサーは、抵抗器を含む、請求項7〜9のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記キーは、前記装着ベース部において形成された突起凹部に嵌合するように適合された少なくとも1つの突起を含む、請求項7〜10のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記キーの前記第1の側は、実質的に平らである、請求項7〜11のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記キーの前記第2の側は、実質的に平らな端部部分及びシェルフ部分を含む、請求項12に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記キーの前記第1の側及び前記キーの前記第2の側はそれぞれ、前記センサーの前記近位端を受容するための座部を含む、請求項7〜13のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記装着ベース部は、前記コネクタ嵌合具の前記円筒形要素に概ね隣接する少なくとも1つのアームを含み、前記少なくとも1つのアームは、前記コネクタが前記装着ベース部に接続された場合、前記コネクタ内に形成された少なくとも1つの対応するアーム凹部内に嵌合するように形成されている、請求項7〜14のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記コネクタ嵌合具は、前記コネクタ嵌合具の第1の側に形成された第1のサイドレールと、前記サイドレールの第2の側に形成された第2のサイドレールと、を含み、前記第1のサイドレール及び前記第2のサイドレールは、前記コネクタが前記装着ベース部に接続された場合、前記装着ベース部の管状凹部に形成された第1のスロット及び前記コネクタの管状凹部に形成された第2のスロットの中へ摺動するように動作可能である、請求項7〜15のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記コネクタは、前記装着ベース部から信号を送信するように動作可能である無線送信機を含む、請求項7〜16のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記特性は、血糖である、請求項7〜17のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
- 前記装着ベース部及び前記コネクタは、前記装着ベース部を前記コネクタに係止するように動作可能である解放可能な相互係止型スナップ嵌めラッチ部材を有する、請求項7〜18のいずれか一項に記載のセンサーセット。
