Description
本発明はディスプレイの技術領域に関し、具体的に言うと特に、カラーフィルタ基板及び曲面ディスプレイに関する。

Claims (3)
- ゲート線とデータ線とが設けられた配列基板と、
前記配列基板の前記ゲート線と前記データ線に対応するように格子状に設けられた第一遮光領域からなるカラーフィルタ基板と、からなる曲面ディスプレイであって、
前記第一遮光領域によって前記カラーフィルタ基板の複数のサブ画素領域が形成されており、
前記配列基板には前記ゲート線と前記データ線とで前記配列基板の複数のサブ画素領域が形成されていて、
前記カラーフィルタ基板と前記配列基板とを組み合わせてから湾曲させて曲面ディスプレイとしたときに、前記カラーフィルタ基板のサブ画素領域の位置と前記配列基板のサブ画素領域の位置とが互いに対応して、前記曲面ディスプレイの開口領域となるようになっていて、
さらに前記配列基板の各前記サブ画素領域の中心線に対応する位置に中心軸線が設けられており、各前記サブ画素領域において前記中心軸線の両側にある液晶の偏光角は異なっており、
前記カラーフィルタ基板は、さらに、前記配列基板のサブ画素領域の中心軸線に対応するように設けられた第二遮光領域を備え、
前記第二遮光領域の幅は、前記サブ画素領域の中心軸線の幅より大きく、
前記カラーフィルタ基板の縦方向の中心軸から、前記縦方向の中心軸から遠ざかる両側の方向に向かって、各前記第二遮光領域の幅は徐々に大きくなっており、
さらに、
前記カラーフィルタ基板の縦方向の中心軸から左側の部分においては、各前記第二遮光領域は前記カラーフィルタ基板の各サブ画素領域の中心から右に向かって延伸し、かつ、各前記第二遮光領域の幅は、前記中心軸線の幅と、各前記第二遮光領域が中心軸線に対して移動する距離との和に等しく、
前記カラーフィルタ基板の縦方向の中心軸から右側の部分においては、各前記第二遮光領域は前記カラーフィルタ基板の各サブ画素領域の中心から左に向かって延伸し、かつ、各前記第二遮光領域の幅は、前記中心軸線の幅と、各前記第二遮光領域が中心軸線に対して移動する距離との和に等しい、
ことを特徴とする曲面ディスプレイ。 - 請求項1に記載の曲面ディスプレイにおいて、
前記第一遮光領域及び前記第二遮光領域は、前記カラーフィルタ基板のフィルター領域を規定する
ことを特徴とする曲面ディスプレイ。 - 請求項2に記載の曲面ディスプレイにおいて、
フィルター領域は、赤色フィルター領域と、緑色フィルター領域と、青色フィルター領域と、からなる
ことを特徴とする曲面ディスプレイ。
