Claims (3)
- 筒状をなす先端部と、該先端部の外周に設けられたフランジとを有する第1管体に、第2管体を接続するための、クイックコネクターであって、
一端側に前記第2管体が接続され、他端側に前記第1管体が挿入される、筒状をなしたソケットと、該ソケットの外周に装着されたワイヤーリテーナと、前記ソケットの内周に配置されたガイド部材とを備え、
前記ガイド部材は、前記ソケット内の第1位置から、それよりも前記ソケットの一端側に近接した第2位置に移動可能に配置されており、
前記ソケットには、周方向に沿ったスリットが形成され、
前記ワイヤーリテーナは、前記スリットを介して前記ソケットの内周に突出して、前記ガイド部材が前記第2位置に配置された状態で、前記フランジに係合して、前記第1管体を抜け止めする係止部を有し、
前記ガイド部材は、前記第1管体の先端部が挿通可能とされ、前記ガイド部材の内周には、前記第1管体のフランジが係合する係合部が形成されており、前記ガイド部材の外周には、前記第1位置に配置された状態で、前記ワイヤーリテーナの係止部が嵌合する保持凹部が、軸方向に対置された一対の壁部によって形成されており、該保持凹部の一対の壁部のうち、前記ソケットの他端側に配置される壁部は、前記ソケットの他端側に向けて外径側に伸びるテーパ状ガイド面をなし、
前記ソケットの内周に前記ガイド部材を挿入した状態、及び、前記保持凹部に前記係止部が嵌合して前記ガイド部材が前記第1位置に保持された状態で、前記保持凹部の一対の壁部のうち、前記ソケットの他端側に配置される、前記テーパ状ガイド面を設けた壁部の先端部が、前記ソケットの内周に弾性的に当接し、前記ソケットの一端側に配置される壁部が、前記ソケットの内周に当接しないように構成されており、
前記係合部は、前記保持凹部よりも前記ソケットの他端側に配置されており、前記テーパ状ガイド面は、前記第1管体の挿入時に前記ワイヤーリテーナが前記フランジを乗り越えるのをガイドすることを特徴とするクイックコネクター。 - 前記保持凹部のテーパ状ガイド面の最外径は、前記第1管体のフランジの外径よりも大きく形成されている請求項1記載のクイックコネクター。
- 前記保持凹部のテーパ状ガイド面が形成された壁部の内周は、前記ソケットの他端開口側に向けて次第に広がるテーパ部を経て、前記第1管体のフランジの外周を覆う形状をなしている、請求項1又は2記載のクイックコネクター。
