Claims (4)
- ダウンドロー法により溶融ガラスを板ガラスに成形する成形体と、前記成形体の下方で前記板ガラスの温度を調整する中空状の一対の温度調整部材と、前記温度調整部材の下方で前記板ガラスを徐冷する徐冷炉と、を備える板ガラス製造装置において、
前記温度調整部材は、炭化ケイ素を含むとともに、一体成形された筒状体で構成され、かつその内部に連通する複数の開口部を備え、
前記開口部を通じて前記温度調整部材の内部に、加熱器又は冷却器である温度制御ユニットが配置されることを特徴とする、板ガラス製造装置。 - 前記温度調整部材は、上壁部と、下壁部と、前記上壁部と前記下壁部とを連結する側壁部と、前記側壁部から所定の間隔をおいて前記上壁部と前記下壁部とを連結する複数の支柱とを備え、
前記複数の支柱は、前記所定の間隔をおいて前記側壁部に対向する壁部に前記開口部を形成するように設けられ、
前記開口部は、前記壁部における前記複数の支柱の間に形成される、請求項1に記載の板ガラス製造装置。 - 前記温度調整部材は、前記上壁部と、前記下壁部と、前記側壁部と、前記支柱とが一体に構成されてなる、請求項2に記載の板ガラス製造装置。
- ダウンドロー法により溶融ガラスを板ガラスに成形する成形工程と、前記成形工程後に中空状の一対の温度調整部材の間に、前記板ガラスを通過させることにより前記板ガラスの温度を調整する温度調整工程と、前記温度調整工程後に前記板ガラスを徐冷する徐冷工程とを備える板ガラス製造方法において、
前記温度調整部材は、炭化ケイ素を含むとともに、一体成形された筒状体で構成され、かつその内部に連通する複数の開口部を備え、
前記開口部を通じて前記温度調整部材の内部に、加熱器又は冷却器である温度制御ユニットが配置されることを特徴とする、板ガラス製造方法。
