Claims (15)
- 電気車両を充電するためのワイヤレス電力伝達システムに近接する検出エリアにおいて物体を検出するように適合された装置であって、
複数のレーダートランシーバと、
少なくとも1つのプロセッサであって、
前記複数のレーダートランシーバからレーダーデータを受信することと、
前記受信されたレーダーデータに基づいて前記検出エリアにおいて物体を検出することと、
前記ワイヤレス電力伝達システムによってワイヤレスに伝達される電力の量に基づいて前記検出エリアを調整することとを行うように構成されたプロセッサとを備える装置。 - 前記複数のレーダートランシーバの各々は、送信アンテナと受信アンテナとを備え、前記送信アンテナと前記受信アンテナとの間の距離は、所望の検出エリアに基づく、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記複数のレーダートランシーバのうちの少なくとも1つに対する前記物体の距離、速度、位置、方向、およびサイズのうちの少なくとも1つを判定するようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、
前記受信されたレーダーデータを時間領域アルゴリズムおよび周波数領域アルゴリズムのうちの一方または両方に従って処理することと、
第1の検出基準を満たす前記時間領域処理されたレーダーデータまたは第2の検出基準を満たす前記周波数領域処理されたレーダーデータのうちの少なくとも一方に基づいて前記物体の存在を判定することとを行うようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記時間領域アルゴリズムに従って前記受信されたレーダーデータを処理することは、前記受信されたレーダーデータの複数の個別サンプルに基づいてエンベロープ波形を判定して前記時間領域処理されたレーダーデータを形成することを含み、前記第1の検出基準は、エンベロープ波形振幅しきい値を含む、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記複数の個別サンプルの各々について、
前記個別サンプルのうちの対応する1つのサンプルに隣接しかつ前記1つのサンプルを含む所定数の個別サンプルの絶対値の平均を判定することと、
前記平均を前記対応する個別サンプルに割り当てることであって、前記エンベロープ波形は、前記複数の個別サンプルの各々について前記割り当てられた平均を含む、割り当てることとを行うことによって、前記エンベロープ波形を判定するようにさらに構成される、請求項5に記載の装置。 - 前記周波数領域アルゴリズムに従って前記受信されたレーダーデータを処理することは、
前記受信されたレーダーデータの複数の個別サンプルの各々を複数の区間のうちの1つに割り当てることと、
前記複数の区間の各々に対して別個に高速フーリエ変換を実行して前記複数の区間の各々について周波数応答表示を生成することであって、前記周波数領域処理されたレーダーデータは前記周波数応答表示を含み、前記第2の検出基準は周波数振幅しきい値を含む、生成することとを含む、請求項4に記載の装置。 - 電気車両を充電するためのワイヤレス電力伝達システムに近接する検出エリアにおいて物体を検出するように適合された方法であって、
複数のレーダートランシーバのうちの少なくとも1つを利用してレーダー信号を送信するステップと、
前記複数のレーダートランシーバのうちの前記少なくとも1つを利用して前記レーダー信号を受信するステップと、
前記受信されたレーダー信号に関連するレーダーデータを受信するステップと、
前記受信されたレーダーデータに基づいて前記検出エリアにおいて物体を検出するステップと、
前記ワイヤレス電力伝達システムによってワイヤレスに伝達される電力の量に基づいて前記検出エリアを調整するステップとを含む方法。 - 前記複数のレーダートランシーバの各レーダートランシーバ上の送信アンテナと受信アンテナとの間の距離を所望の検出エリアに基づかせることをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のレーダートランシーバのうちの少なくとも1つに対する前記物体の距離、速度、位置、方向、およびサイズのうちの少なくとも1つを判定するステップをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記受信されたレーダーデータを時間領域アルゴリズムおよび周波数領域アルゴリズムのうちの一方または両方に従って処理するステップと、
第1の検出基準を満たす前記時間領域処理されたレーダーデータまたは第2の検出基準を満たす前記周波数領域処理されたレーダーデータのうちの少なくとも一方に基づいて前記物体の存在を判定するステップとをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記時間領域アルゴリズムに従って前記受信されたレーダーデータを処理するステップは、前記受信されたレーダーデータの複数の個別サンプルに基づいてエンベロープ波形を判定して前記時間領域処理されたレーダーデータを形成するステップを含み、前記第1の検出基準は、エンベロープ波形振幅しきい値を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記エンベロープ波形を判定するステップは、前記複数の個別サンプルの各々について、
前記個別サンプルのうちの対応する1つのサンプルに隣接しかつ前記1つのサンプルを含む所定数の個別サンプルの絶対値の平均を判定するステップと、
前記平均を前記対応する個別サンプルに割り当てるステップであって、前記エンベロープ波形は、前記複数の個別サンプルの各々について前記割り当てられた平均を含む、ステップとを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記周波数領域アルゴリズムに従って前記受信されたレーダーデータを処理するステップは、
前記受信されたレーダーデータの複数の個別サンプルの各々を複数の区間のうちの1つに割り当てるステップと、
前記複数の区間の各々に対して別個に高速フーリエ変換を実行して前記複数の区間の各々について周波数応答表示を生成するステップであって、前記周波数領域処理されたレーダーデータは前記周波数応答表示を含み、前記第2の検出基準は周波数振幅しきい値を含む、ステップとを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - コードを含むコンピュータ可読記憶媒体であって、前記コードは、実行されたときに、電気車両を充電するためのワイヤレス電力伝達システムに近接する検出エリアにおいて物体を検出するように適合された装置に、
複数のレーダートランシーバのうちの少なくとも1つを利用してレーダー信号を送信することと、
前記複数のレーダートランシーバのうちの前記少なくとも1つを利用して前記レーダー信号を受信することと、
前記受信されたレーダー信号に関連するレーダーデータを受信することと、
前記受信されたレーダーデータに基づいて検出エリアにおいて物体を検出することと、
前記ワイヤレス電力伝達システムによってワイヤレスに伝達される電力の量に基づいて前記検出エリアを調整することとを行わせる媒体。
