Claims (3)
- 上部に設けた投入口から未溶融の軽金属材料の塊が投入されて、
下部に設けた排出口から前記軽金属材料の塊を排出して、
前記排出口を溶融ユニットの材料供給口に接続して、
前記投入口と前記排出口の間の通路を上部シャッタで開閉して、
前記上部シャッタよりも前記排出口側に近い位置で前記通路を下部シャッタで開閉して、
前記上部シャッタが前記通路を閉じている間に前記軽金属材料の塊が前記投入口から投入されて前記上部シャッタの上に前記軽金属材料の塊を載せて、
前記下部シャッタが前記通路を閉じている間に前記上部シャッタを開いて前記軽金属材料の塊を落として前記下部シャッタの上に前記軽金属材料の塊を載せて、
前記上部シャッタが前記通路を閉じている間に前記下部シャッタを開いて前記軽金属材料の塊を落として前記排出口から前記軽金属材料の塊を排出して前記溶融ユニットの前記材料供給口に前記軽金属材料の塊を供給する、軽金属射出成形機の材料供給装置において、
前記軽金属材料の塊は、前記上部シャッタと前記下部シャッタの間の前記通路の空間よりも小さく、
前記下部シャッタが、当該下部シャッタが前記通路を閉じている間に前記軽金属材料の塊を通さずに不活性ガスを通す、前記軽金属材料の塊よりも小さい少なくとも1つの通気孔を有して、
前記下部シャッタが前記通路を閉じている間に前記下部シャッタよりも前記排出口側の前記通路に供給されている前記不活性ガスを前記通気孔を通して前記上部シャッタと前記下部シャッタの間の通路に供給することを特徴とする軽金属射出成形機の材料供給装置。 - 前記下部シャッタが複数の前記通気孔を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の軽金属射出成形機の材料供給装置。
- 前記通気孔の内径が2.5mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の軽金属射出成形機の材料供給装置。
