Description
円柱状の素材の一端部を、表面から中心軸に向かって、3方向から圧縮加工する工程と、
圧縮加工された前記素材を据え込み鍛造し、前記一端部において分岐してそれぞれ延びる3つの棒状部を形成する工程と、を備え、
据え込鍛造する際、前記棒状部を形成する位置の間に、前記素材において圧縮加工した部位を配置する。
このような構成によれば、据え込み鍛造を行う前に、バリの発生し易い棒状部同士の間に成る予定の部位を圧縮加工しておく。そのため、据え込鍛造を行うと、棒状部を形成する位置の間において、すでに圧縮加工により加工硬化しているため、バリの発生を抑制することができる。
図1A〜図7を参照して実施の形態1に係る軸付きトリポードの製造方法について説明する。図1A〜図6Bは、実施の形態1に係る軸付トリポードの製造方法の一工程を示す図である。図7は、軸付トリポードを組み込まれた等速ジョイントを示す図である。
図2Cに示すように、金型1は、成形用孔1aを有し、成形用孔1aは、断面円形状部1bと、断面円形状部1bと連続する断面略三角形状部1cと、断面略三角形状部1cと連続する大孔部1dとを有する。図2Dに示すように、断面円形状部1bは、大径部W1aよりも同じ又は大きな径を有する円形状の断面形状を有する孔部である。断面略三角形状部1cは、略三角形状、具体的には、角部に丸みを有する正三角形状の断面形状を有する孔部である。大孔部1dは、断面円形状部1b及び断面略三角形状部1cよりも大きな断面積を有し、大孔部1dの長さは、絞り加工工程ST2において、絞加工体W2を容易にハンドリングできるようなスペースを確保するような長さであればよい。図2Eに示すように、断面略三角形状部1cは、大孔部1d側(ここでは、Z軸マイナス側)に向かって、拡大するとよく、押出加工を行う上で好ましい。なお、大孔部1dを除いて断面円形状部1b及び断面略三角形状部1cと同じ形状の孔のみを有する成形用孔を有する金型(図示略)を、金型1の代わりに用いてもよい。また、この金型と、この金型を支持して大孔部1dと同じ形状の孔を有する下側金型(図示略)とを、金型1の代わりに用いてもよい。
次に、図8A、図8B、図9A及び図9Bを参照して実施の形態2に係る軸付きポードの製造方法について説明する。図8A、図8B、図9A及び図9Bは、実施の形態2に係る軸付ポードの製造方法の一工程を示す図である。
次に、図10A、図10B、図11A及び図11Bを参照して実施の形態3に係る軸付きポードの製造方法について説明する。図10A、図10B、図11A及び図11Bは、実施の形態3に係る軸付ポードの製造方法の一工程を示す図である。

圧縮加工された前記素材を据え込み鍛造し、前記一端部において分岐してそれぞれ延びる3つの棒状部を形成する工程と、を備え、
据え込鍛造する際、前記棒状部を形成する位置の間に、前記素材において圧縮加工した部位を配置する、
