Claims (4)
- 電解質膜の両側に電極が設けられてなる電解質膜・電極構造体と、前記電解質膜・電極構造体に積層されたセパレータとを有する発電セルが水平方向に複数積層された積層体を備え、電極面に沿って反応ガスを流す反応ガス流路が形成された燃料電池スタックであって、
前記反応ガス流路と連通するとともに前記反応ガスを排出する複数の反応ガス排出連通孔が前記発電セルの積層方向に沿って貫通形成され、
前記複数の反応ガス排出連通孔の各々は、前記反応ガスの出口を有し、
前記複数の反応ガス排出連通孔は、前記出口とは反対側の端部で、連結流路により互いに連結されており、
生成水を排出するためのドレンが設けられ、
前記ドレンは、前記積層方向に貫通形成され且つ前記連結流路に連通している、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、
前記連結流路は、前記積層体の端部に配置されたターミナルプレート、インシュレータ又はエンドプレートに設けられている、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、
前記複数の反応ガス排出連通孔は、互いに異なる高さに配置された2つの反応ガス排出連通孔を有し、
前記ドレンは、下方側に配置された前記反応ガス排出連通孔よりも下方に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項3記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、
前記連結流路の下端部から下方に傾斜する中継流路が設けられ、
前記ドレンは、前記中継流路を介して、前記連結流路に接続されている、
ことを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
