Claims (3)
- 燃料ガス中のアンモニアを低減するポンプセルを含むアンモニアポンプと、
空気である酸化剤ガスと、前記アンモニアポンプによりアンモニアが低減された前記燃料ガスとが供給される発電セルを含む燃料電池と、を備え、
前記ポンプセル及び発電セルのそれぞれは、膜電極ガス拡散層接合体と、前記膜電極ガス拡散層接合体を挟持する第1及び第2セパレータと、前記第1セパレータと前記膜電極ガス拡散層接合体との間で画定される第1ガス流路と、前記第2セパレータと前記膜電極ガス拡散層接合体との間で画定される第2ガス流路と、を有し、
前記ポンプセル及び発電セルのそれぞれでの前記第1及び第2ガス流路は、同一条件下でガスを前記第1及び第2ガス流路にそれぞれ流通させた場合での前記ガスの圧力損失が前記第1ガス流路の方が前記第2ガス流路よりも小さくなるように形成され、
前記酸化剤ガスは、前記発電セルの前記第1ガス流路を流通し、
前記燃料ガスは、前記ポンプセルの前記第1ガス流路を流通し、前記発電セルの前記第2ガス流路を流通し、
前記ポンプセルから前記発電セルに前記燃料ガスを案内し、前記ポンプセルと前記発電セルとの間に配置されて積層された案内プレートを備え、
前記案内プレートは、前記発電セルから排出された前記燃料ガスを、前記ポンプセル及び前記発電セル以外の前記案内プレートの外部へと排出する、請求項1の燃料電池ユニット。 - 前記ポンプセルは、前記燃料ガスを排出する排出孔を有し、
前記発電セルは、前記燃料ガスが供給される供給孔を有し、
前記案内プレートは、前記排出孔から前記供給孔へ前記燃料ガスを案内する燃料ガス案内通路を有し、
前記燃料ガス案内通路は、前記ポンプセル及び発電セルが積層された積層方向に延びて前記案内プレートを貫通している、請求項1の燃料電池ユニット。 - 前記ポンプセル及び発電セルのそれぞれでの前記第1及び第2ガス流路は、前記第1ガス流路の長さを前記第1ガス流路の流路断面積の総和で除した値が前記第2ガス流路の長さを前記第2ガス流路の流路断面積の総和で除した値よりも小さいことにより、前記圧力損失が前記第1ガス流路の方が前記第2ガス流路よりも小さく形成されている、請求項1又は2の燃料電池ユニット。
