切削液:水溶性切削油
ドリルの先端切れ刃の切削距離が50mに到達するまで穴加工を繰り返し、切削距離が50mに到達したときの、ドリルの先端二番面における被膜の摩耗幅すなわち切れ刃に隣接した基材の露出幅を、スケール付き実体顕微鏡を用いて実測し、図12の※1に示した。
(切削距離の測定方法および合格判定方法)
切削試験条件(回転速度:5305min−1、送り量:0.18mm/rev、加工深さ:30mm)と、ドリルの摩耗幅が0.2mmに到達するまでの穴加工数(総加工深さ)とに基づいてドリルの先端切れ刃の切削距離を算出し、図12の※2に示した。この切削距離が50m未満であれば不合格判定として×印を、50m以上であれば合格判定として○印を、図12の※3に示した。

Claims (8)
- 母材の表面に被覆される硬質被膜であって、
前記硬質被膜は、物理的蒸着法により、A層と、B層およびC層が交互に積層されたナノレイヤー交互層とが交互に積層されて、0.5〜20μmの総膜厚となるように構成されたものであり、
前記A層は、組成式が[Al1−W−XCrW(SiC)X]Nで、原子比Wが0.20〜0.80、原子比Xが0.01〜0.20で表されるAlCr(SiC)窒化物であって、50〜1000nmの厚みを有するものであり、

前記C層は、組成式が[Ti1−Z(SiC)Z]Nで、原子比Zが0.05〜0.45で表されるTi(SiC)窒化物であって、1〜100nmの厚みを有するものであり、
前記ナノレイヤー交互層は、50〜1000nmの厚みを有するものである
ことを特徴とする硬質被膜。 - 前記A層の膜厚TAと前記ナノレイヤー交互層の膜厚TNLの比の値TA/TNLは0.2〜10である
ことを特徴とする請求項1の硬質被膜。 - 前記A層は、V、Y、Zr、Nb、Mo、Ta、およびWからなる群より選択された少なくとも1種の元素から成る添加物αを、20at%以下含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2の硬質被膜。 - 前記B層は、B、C、V、Cr、Zr、Nb、Mo、Hf、TaおよびWからなる群より選択された少なくとも1種の元素から成る添加物βを、10at%以下含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかの硬質被膜。 - 前記C層は、B、V、Y、Nb、Mo、およびWからなる群より選択された少なくとも1種の元素から成る添加物γを、10at%以下含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の硬質被膜。 - 前記硬質被膜は、前記母材に直接被覆されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の硬質被膜。 - 前記硬質被膜は、界面層を介して前記母材に被覆され、
前記界面層は、前記A層、前記B層、または前記ナノレイヤー交互層と同様の材料から50〜1000nmの厚みに形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の硬質被膜。 - 請求項1から7のいずれかの硬質被膜によって前記母材の一部または全部が被覆された
ことを特徴とする硬質被膜被覆部材。
