Description
そこで、モータ制御装置で発生する熱をヒートシンクによる送風空気へ放熱するとともにモータ冷却用の空気やヨークの放熱する空調装置が提案されている(特許文献1参照)。
回転子軸に組み付けられた回転子の直上に同軸に組み付けられたインペラを収容するブロワケースと、モータを駆動制御する駆動回路が設けられたモータ基板が組み付けられるモータケースが前記回転子軸を回転可能に支持するフランジ部を挟み込んで一体に組み付けられた送風機であって、前記フランジ部の一部に前記ブロワケース側に開口する送風口が設けられ、前記モータケースに組み付けられたモータ基板と前記フランジ部との間に前記送風口と連通する送風通路が形成され当該送風通路には、前記モータ基板に搭載され前記フランジ部の開口よりブロワケース側に露出する熱交換器が設けられており、前記モータを起動して前記インペラの回転による送風の一部を前記送風口より取り込んで前記熱交換器が設けられた前記送風通路を通じて固定子コアの極歯に巻かれたモータコイルへ直接送風して前記インペラ側に循環させて放熱することを特徴とする。
よって、インペラの回転により発生する送風の一部をフランジ部とモータケースとの間に形成される送風通路を通じて循環させることで、ブラシレスモータの高発熱源であるモータコイルを効率良く冷却することができる。
また、送風通路には、モータ基板に搭載されフランジ部の開口よりブロワケース側に露出する熱交換器が設けられているので、モータ基板に設けられる電子部品からの発熱を放熱する熱交換器を効率良く冷却して機能を維持することができ、熱交換器の熱容量を減少させて小型化することもできる。
よって、インペラ2の回転により発生する送風の一部をフランジ部6とモータケース5との間に形成される送風通路18(クーリングチャネル)を通じて循環させることで、ブラシレスモータの高発熱源であるモータコイル14c、更にはラジエータ11を効率良く冷却することができる。
Claims (3)
- 回転子軸に組み付けられた回転子の直上に同軸に組み付けられたインペラを収容するブロワケースと、モータを駆動制御する駆動回路が設けられたモータ基板が組み付けられるモータケースが前記回転子軸を回転可能に支持するフランジ部を挟み込んで一体に組み付けられた送風機であって、
前記フランジ部の一部に前記ブロワケース側に開口する送風口が設けられ、前記モータケースに組み付けられたモータ基板と前記フランジ部との間に前記送風口と連通する送風通路が形成され当該送風通路には、前記モータ基板に搭載され前記フランジ部の開口よりブロワケース側に露出する熱交換器が設けられており、前記モータを起動して前記インペラの回転による送風の一部を前記送風口より取り込んで前記熱交換器が設けられた前記送風通路を通じて固定子コアの極歯に巻かれたモータコイルへ直接送風して前記インペラ側に循環させて放熱することを特徴とする送風機。 - 前記モータコイルへ送風された送風通路は回転子ヨークの天面に形成された貫通孔を通じて前記インペラ側に循環させる請求項1記載の送風機。
- 前記回転子軸に一体に組み付けられた回転子ヨークは、対向配置された前記インペラの内径側収納空間に軸方向に重なり合って同軸に組み付けられている請求項1又は請求項2記載の送風機。
