Description
本発明の実施形態1に係る発光装置100を図1の断面図に基づいて説明する。この図に示す発光装置100は、基体10と、発光素子20と、反射体30とを備える。発光素子20は、基体10に載置されている。基体10は、断面視において凹状に形成された開口部を有しており、発光素子20は、この開口部の底面に載置されている。

Claims (14)
- 基体と、
前記基体に載置された発光素子と、
前記発光素子が発する光を反射するよう前記発光素子の周囲に複数配置され、それぞれがコア材と、該コア材を被覆する誘電体多層膜を有する反射体と
を備え、
前記誘電体多層膜が、前記発光素子が発する光の波長を反射する膜厚に設定され、
前記反射体が粒状であり、
前記反射体が前記発光素子を囲む周囲の領域に敷き詰めるように配置される発光装置。 - 請求項1に記載の発光装置であって、
前記反射体が、前記発光素子の上面を除く、前記基体の表面を覆うように膜状に形成されてなる発光装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の発光装置であって、
前記反射体が、前記発光素子の側面の少なくとも一部を覆うよう配置されてなる発光装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、
前記コア材が、金属材料である発光装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、
前記コア材が、Cu、Ag、Alのいずれかを含んでなる発光装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、
前記発光素子が、前記基体にフリップチップ実装されており、前記基体と前記発光素子との間に、前記反射体が配置されてなる発光装置。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、
前記基体は、導電性のリードを有しており、
前記リードの上面に前記発光素子が配置されてなる発光装置。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、さらに、
前記反射体上に配置される、前記発光素子が発する光の波長を変換する波長変換部材を備えてなる発光装置。 - 請求項8に記載の発光装置であって、
前記波長変換部材が粒状であり、
前記反射体の平均粒径を、前記波長変換部材の平均粒径よりも小さくしてなる発光装置。 - 請求項8又は9に記載の発光装置であって、さらに、
前記発光素子を被覆する透光性を有する封止部材を備え、
前記波長変換部材が、前記封止部材内で前記反射体上に沈降配置されてなる発光装置。 - 請求項1〜10のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、
前記基体が、断面視凹状に形成された開口部を有しており、
前記発光素子が、前記開口部の底面に載置されると共に、前記反射体が、前記基体の底面であって前記発光素子の周囲に配置されてなる発光装置。 - 請求項11に記載の発光装置であって、
前記基体は、さらに前記開口部の底面から連続する側壁を備え、
前記反射体が前記側壁を被覆する発光装置。 - 請求項1〜12のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、さらに、
前記発光素子と電気的に接続され、該発光素子を保護するための保護素子を備えており、
前記保護素子が前記反射体で被覆されてなる発光装置。 - 請求項1〜13のいずれか一に記載の発光装置であって、
前記反射体の平均粒径が1μm〜20μmである発光装置。
