本出願は、引用により組入れられた2013年11月11日出願の、「Hinged Resonant Power Transfer Coil(ヒンジ付共振電力伝送コイル)」と題する米国仮出願第61/902,694号に基づく優先権を主張する。
本明細書にて記載された全ての刊行物及び特許出願は、個々の刊行物または特許出願のそれぞれが引用により包含されるよう特段に、かつ個別に記載がなされたと見なす程度まで、引用により包含される。
本願明細書は、例えば、以下の項目も提供する。
(項目1)
患者の体に沿うようヒンジで調整可能なコイル外装を成形するよう前記ヒンジで別の節に接続された複数の節、及び
前記コイル外装に取り付けられ、無線電力伝送または受電するよう構成されたフレキシブル導線を備える、無線電力伝送システムの共振器。
(項目2)
前記ヒンジで曲がり実質的に患者の生体構造に沿うようさらに構成された、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目3)
前記共振器が前記患者の腹部に沿うよう構成された、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目4)
前記共振器が前記患者の胸部に沿うよう構成された、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目5)
前記フレキシブル導線が少なくとも一つの送信コイル及び少なくとも一つの受信コイルを備える、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目6)
前記フレキシブル導体層が少なくとも一つの送信コイル、少なくとも一つの受信コイル、及び、少なくとも一つのエキサイタコイルを備える、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目7)
前記コイル外装がシリコンを備える、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目8)
前記コイル外装が円形を有する、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目9)
前記コイル外装が長方形を有する、項目1に記載の共振器。
(項目10)
前記コイル外装が楕円形を有する、項目1に記載の共振器。

前記患者の体に送信コイルを設置し、
前記送信コイルを前記患者の体に沿わせ、
前記送信コイルから、前記患者に埋め込まれた受信コイルに無線で電力伝送することを備える、患者への無線電力伝送方法。
(項目19)
前記体に沿わせるステップでは、前記送信コイルのヒンジで前記送信コイルの複数の節を曲げ前記送信コイルの形状を調整する、項目18に記載の方法。
(項目20)
前記体に沿わせるステップ後、前記送信コイルの形状を固定することをさらに備える、項目18に記載の方法。
電力は磁気誘導により無線伝送されてもよい。多様な実施形態において、送信器及び受信器は密結合される。
上記のように、結合係数kは様々な理由で有用であってもよい。一つの実施例において、結合係数を使用して、適切な性能を確保するために同調調整ができるようコイル相互の配置を判断してもよい。受信コイルを送信コイルから離すと、相互インダクタンスは低下し、他の条件が同じであれば、電力伝送は減少する。多様な実施形態において、本システムは、同調調整を行い結合係数の急落を補償するよう構成される。
図4Aは、TETシステムで使用するヒンジ付及び/または非平面共振コイル400の一つの実施形態を示す。共振コイルは図のように一般的に卵型/楕円コイルであってもよく、或いは、円形コイル、長方形コイル、または正方形コイルなどであってもよい。共振コイル400は、直線状節402及びカーブ状節404など複数の節で構成される。典型的な実施形態において、節はヒンジ406で互いに結合される。
Claims (14)
- 患者の体に沿うようヒンジで調整可能なコイル外装を成形するよう前記ヒンジで別の節に接続された複数の節であって、前記複数の節が、閉ループを成形するために、端と端で接続される、複数の節と、
前記コイル外装に取り付けられ、無線電力伝送または受電するよう構成されたフレキシブル導線であって、前記フレキシブル導線が、少なくとも一つの送信コイル、少なくとも一つの受信コイル、及び、少なくとも一つのエキサイタコイルを備える、フレキシブル導線と
を備える、無線電力伝送システムの共振器。 - 前記フレキシブル導線が、前記複数の節によって成形される前記閉ループに沿って伸びる、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- 前記共振器が前記患者の胸部に沿うよう構成された、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- 前記コイル外装がシリコンを備える、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- 前記コイル外装が円形を有する、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- 前記コイル外装が長方形を有する、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- 前記コイル外装が楕円形を有する、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- 前記共振器が非平面構造に屈曲可能である、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- さらに、前記コイル外装を好適な位置に固定するよう構成された固定機構を備える、請求項1に記載の共振器。
- 前記複数の節の一部に配置された少なくとも一つの磁気シールドエレメントをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の共振器。
