Description
第1のスイッチ制御方法では、第1スイッチSW1の1回のオン時間(以下、第1継続オン時間と呼ぶ)To1および第2スイッチSW2の1回のオン時間(以下、第2継続オン時間)To2は予め定められている。この第1継続オン時間To1は、第1の期間T1以下の長さであり、第2継続オン時間To2は、第2の期間T2以下の長さである。第2継続オン時間To2は、第1継続オン時間To1以上の長さであってもよい。
第2のスイッチ制御方法では、第1スイッチSW1の1回のオン時間(第1継続オン時間)To1は第1の期間T1と等しく(To1=T1)、第2スイッチSW2の1回のオン時間(第2継続オン時間)To2は第2の期間T2と等しい(To2=T2)。このとき、第1の期間T1(=第1継続オン時間To1)と第2の期間T2(=第2継続オン時間To2)との関係は、第1の期間T1/第2の期間T2=逆極性電圧/正極性電圧、の関係を有することが好ましい。
上記実施の形態は、以下のように変形してもよい。

Claims (4)
- ワイヤ電極と加工対象物とで形成される極間に電圧を印加して放電を発生させることで、前記加工対象物に対して放電加工を施すワイヤ放電加工機であって、
前記加工対象物側を正極、前記ワイヤ電極側を負極とする正極性電圧を印加するように前記極間に接続された第1直流電源と、前記第1直流電源と前記極間との間に設けられ、前記極間への前記正極性電圧の印加のオン/オフを切り換える第1スイッチとを有する第1電圧印加回路と、
前記ワイヤ電極側を正極、前記加工対象物側を負極とする逆極性電圧を印加するように前記極間に接続された第2直流電源と、前記第2直流電源と前記極間との間に設けられ、前記極間への前記逆極性電圧の印加のオン/オフを切り換える第2スイッチとを有する第2電圧印加回路と、
前記第1スイッチおよび前記第2スイッチのオン/オフを制御し、且つ、前記第1スイッチと前記第2スイッチとが同時にオンしないように前記第1スイッチおよび前記第2スイッチを制御するスイッチ制御部と、
を備え、
前記逆極性電圧の絶対値が前記正極性電圧の絶対値未満となるように、前記第1直流電源および前記第2直流電源が設定されており、
前記第1スイッチの1回のオン時間である第1継続オン時間および前記第2スイッチの1回のオン時間である第2継続オン時間は予め決められており、
前記極間の電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、
前記電圧検出部が検出した前記極間の電圧に基づいて、前記極間の平均電圧を計測する平均電圧計測部と、
前記平均電圧計測部が計測した前記極間の平均電圧と目標電圧とを比較して、前記極間の平均電圧が目標電圧に近づく極性を判別し、次回印加する電圧の極性を決定する極性決定部と、
をさらに備え、
前記スイッチ制御部は、前記極性決定部が決定した極性の電圧が印加されるように、前記第1スイッチおよび前記第2スイッチを制御する
ことを特徴とするワイヤ放電加工機。 - 請求項1に記載のワイヤ放電加工機であって、
前記第2電圧印加回路は、前記第2直流電源と前記極間との間に挿入された電流制限抵抗をさらに有する
ことを特徴とするワイヤ放電加工機。 - 請求項1または2に記載のワイヤ放電加工機であって、
前記第1電圧印加回路は、前記第1直流電源と並列に接続された第1コンデンサをさらに有し、
前記第2電圧印加回路は、前記第2直流電源と並列に接続された第2コンデンサをさらに有し、
前記第1コンデンサの容量を、前記第2コンデンサの容量以上とした
ことを特徴とするワイヤ放電加工機。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のワイヤ放電加工機であって、
前記極間の電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、
前記電圧検出部が検出した前記極間の電圧に基づいて、放電が発生したか否かを判断する放電判断部と、
前記加工対象物側を正極、前記ワイヤ電極側を負極とする正極性の主加工電圧を印加するように前記極間に接続された第3直流電源と、前記第3直流電源と前記極間との間に設けられ、前記極間への前記主加工電圧の印加のオン/オフを切り換える第3スイッチとを有する第3電圧印加回路と、
をさらに備え、
前記スイッチ制御部は、前記正極性電圧または前記逆極性電圧の一方の印加を開始してからその印加が終了するまでの間に、前記放電判断部によって放電が発生したと判断された場合は、前記第3スイッチをオンにすることで、前記極間に前記主加工電圧を印加して主加工電流を流す
ことを特徴とするワイヤ放電加工機。
