Description
(回路遮断器)
まず、本実施形態の消弧用絶縁材料成形体の詳細を説明する前に、図1〜図5を参照して、本実施形態の回路遮断器について説明する。
本実施形態の消弧用絶縁材料成形体は、少なくとも1種のオレフィン系モノマーに由来する構成単位を含む架橋重合体を含む。消弧用絶縁材料成形体の全質量に対して架橋重合体が占める質量比率は、50質量%以上(100質量%以下)である。より好ましくは60質量%以上であり、さらに好ましくは70質量%以上である。架橋重合体の占める質量比率が50質量%未満である場合、消弧作用を備えるガスの発生量が不足し、アークの遮断効果が低下する。
本実施形態にかかる消弧用絶縁材料成形体は、有機充填材をさらに含有している点で実施形態1とは異なる。それ以外の点は実施形態1と同様であるため、重複する説明は省略する。
(材料組成)
表1に、実施例1〜6および比較例1〜4の消弧用絶縁材料成形体の材料組成を示す。
実施例1においては、ジシクロペンタジエン(架橋性オレフィン系モノマー)と、重合触媒とを含む混合物を撹拌した後、金型内へ注入し、150℃で2時間の加熱硬化処理を実施した。これにより、ジシクロペンタジエンに由来する構成単位を有する架橋重合体(ポリジシクロペンタジエン)からなる、縦40mm、横60mm、厚さ1mmの消弧用絶縁材料成形体を得た。
本試験は、消弧用絶縁材料成形体が設置された回路遮断器に、閉成状態で定格電流の6倍の電流(たとえば100A用回路遮断器の場合は600A)を通電し、可動接点2と固定接点4とを接点開離距離L(可動接点2と固定接点4との間の距離)が15〜25mmとなるように開離させて、アーク電流を発生させ、アーク電流の遮断を規定回数成功させることをもって合格とする試験である。なお、本試験の条件としては、AC690V/600Aの条件で、12回の遮断が成功すれば合格とした。
本試験は、閉成状態において、10〜100kAの過剰電流を通電して可動接触子を開離させ、アーク電流を発生させ、このアーク電流の遮断の規定回数の成功と破損がないことをもって合格とする試験である。なお、本試験の条件としては、AC440V/50kAの条件で、3回の遮断が成功し、かつ、消弧用絶縁材料成形体5および回路遮断器の筐体18に変形または破損がないことをもって合格とした。
Claims (4)
- 少なくとも1種のオレフィン系モノマーに由来する構成単位を含む架橋重合体を50質量%以上含み、
前記オレフィン系モノマーは、炭素原子間二重結合を有する炭素環構造を含む脂肪族化合物のうち、分子構造中に炭素原子間二重結合を複数有する化合物である少なくとも1種の架橋性シクロオレフィン系モノマーを含み、
前記架橋性シクロオレフィン系モノマーは、少なくとも1種のノルボルネン系モノマーを含み、
前記ノルボルネン系モノマーがジシクロペンタジエンであり、
少なくとも1種の無機充填材をさらに含有し、
前記無機充填材は、ガラス繊維、無機鉱物、セラミック繊維および金属水酸化物の少なくとも1つからなる、消弧用絶縁材料成形体。 - 有機充填材をさらに含有し、
前記有機充填材は、少なくとも1種の脂肪族炭化水素系ゴムからなり、
前記有機充填材の充填率が30質量%未満である、請求項1に記載の消弧用絶縁材料成形体。 - 前記脂肪族炭化水素系ゴムは、エチレンプロピレンゴムおよびエチレンプロピレンジエンゴムから選択される、請求項2に記載の消弧用絶縁材料成形体。
- 固定接点を有する固定接触子と、可動接点を有する可動接触子と、前記可動接触子を作動させる開閉機構部と、前記固定接点および前記可動接点が開離するときに発生するアークに曝される位置に配置された消弧用絶縁材料成形体と、を備える回路遮断器であって、
前記消弧用絶縁材料成形体は、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の消弧用絶縁材料成形体である、回路遮断器。
