Claims (10)
- ニッケル(Ni)、鉄(Fe)、コバルト(Co)状態図のパーミンバー領域からの磁性ろう付け合金であって、
磁性ろう付け合金が、重量%で、8〜45%のFeと、0〜78%のCoと、B及びSi及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される元素0.5〜5.0%と、0.01〜0.10%のアルミニウム(Al)と、残部のNi及び不可避不純物とからなり、磁性ろう付け合金が、1850〜2100°F(1010〜1150℃)の範囲のろう付け温度によって特徴付けられた、磁性ろう付け合金。 - ニッケル(Ni)、鉄(Fe)、コバルト(Co)状態図のパーミンバー領域からの磁性ろう付け合金であって、
磁性ろう付け合金が、重量%で、8〜45%のFeと、0〜78%のCoと、B及びSi及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される元素0.5〜5.0%と、0.01〜0.10%のアルミニウム(Al)と、0.01〜0.10%のチタン(Ti)及び/又は6〜13%のクロム(Cr)と、残部のNi及び不可避不純物とからなり、磁性ろう付け合金が、1850〜2100°F(1010〜1150℃)の範囲のろう付け温度によって特徴付けられた、磁性ろう付け合金。 - B及びSi及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される元素が、2.0〜4.0%の範囲で含まれる、請求項1又は請求項2記載の磁性ろう付け合金。
- 磁性ろう付け合金がフォイルであり、該フォイルが0.0002〜0.008インチ(5.08〜203.2μm)の厚さを有する、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の磁性ろう付け合金。
- 磁性ろう付け合金が、粒状材料である、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の磁性ろう付け合金。
- 前記粒状材料が接着剤を含むペーストと混合されており、ペースト状の磁性ろう付け合金を形成している、請求項5記載の磁性ろう付け合金。
- 構造の欠陥を補修する方法であって、
部品においてアクセスが困難な場所に位置する欠陥を識別するステップと、
請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項の磁性ろう付け合金を用意するステップと、
磁性ろう付け合金を部品の内部に加えるステップと、
磁性ろう付け合金が部品内の欠陥に配置されるように、磁石を用いて磁性ろう付け合金を操作するステップと、
磁性ろう付け合金を所定位置に維持しながら、非酸化性雰囲気の炉内に部品を載置するステップと、
炉を磁性ろう付け合金のろう付け温度まで加熱し、磁性ろう付け合金が欠陥内に流動するようにするステップと、
部品を冷却するステップと
を含む、方法。 - 非酸化性雰囲気の炉内に部品を載置するステップが、窒素雰囲気又は不活性ガス雰囲気でパージされた炉内に部品を載置するステップ、或いは真空炉内に部品を載置して真空引きするステップを含む、請求項7記載の方法。
- 部品内の欠陥を識別するステップが、部品に対して加圧漏洩試験を実施して、流体漏洩領域を識別するステップを含む、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 磁性ろう付け合金を所定位置に維持しながら、非酸化性雰囲気の炉内に部品を載置するステップの前に、磁性ろう付け合金のろう付け温度未満の揮発温度で特徴付けられる接着剤と磁性ろう付け合金とを混合して、接着剤を乾燥させるステップを含む、請求項7乃至請求項9のいずれか1項記載の方法。
