Description
上記弾性部材の上記基端を保持するベースプレートと、
上記弾性部材の内部に形成される容積室を内燃機関の吸気通路に連通させるように上記ベースプレートに一端が接続された連通管と、
を備え、上記容積室に導入される吸気脈動により上記弾性部材が軸方向に伸縮変形する内燃機関の吸気音低減装置であって、
上記弾性部材の蛇腹状の周壁は、山部および谷部の頂部に、当該弾性部材の軸方向と平行な直線部を備えているとともに、隣接する山部と谷部とが上記軸方向に対して傾斜したテーパ壁でもって接続されており、これら直線部とテーパ壁とによって山部および谷部が、それぞれ断面台形状をなしている、ことを特徴としている。

Claims (3)
- 基端が開口するとともに先端が封止された略円筒状をなし、かつ周壁が蛇腹状に屈曲形成されてなる弾性を有するエラストマーからなる弾性部材と、
上記弾性部材の上記基端を保持するベースプレートと、
上記弾性部材の内部に形成される容積室を内燃機関の吸気通路に連通させるように上記ベースプレートに一端が接続された連通管と、
を備え、上記容積室に導入される吸気脈動により上記弾性部材が軸方向に伸縮変形する内燃機関の吸気音低減装置であって、
上記弾性部材の蛇腹状の周壁は、山部および谷部の頂部に、当該弾性部材の軸方向と平行な直線部を備えているとともに、隣接する山部と谷部とが上記軸方向に対して傾斜したテーパ壁でもって接続されており、これら直線部とテーパ壁とによって山部および谷部が、それぞれ断面台形状をなしている、ことを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気音低減装置。 - 上記弾性部材の先端に、硬質合成樹脂からなる円形のエンドプレートが配置されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気音低減装置。
- 上記テーパ壁の上記軸方向と直交する平面に対する傾斜角度が25°以下である、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の吸気音低減装置。
