上記エアクリーナケースの一部として、上記内部空間に一端が開放された筒状に形成されるとともに、他端に外部に連通した連通孔を備えた吸気音低減装置用ケース部と、
この吸気音低減装置用ケース部内に収容され、基端が開口するとともに先端が封止された略円筒状をなし、かつ周壁が蛇腹状に屈曲形成されてなる弾性部材と、
上記吸気音低減装置用ケース部の一端の開口を覆うように取り付けられ、上記弾性部材の上記基端を保持するベースプレートと、
上記弾性部材の内部に形成される容積室を上記内部空間に連通させるように上記ベースプレートを貫通して設けられた連通管と、
からなる吸気音低減装置を内蔵したことを特徴としている。
上記吸気音低減装置用ケース部は、上記ボディの底部に、上記開口部へ向かって一端が開口した筒状に成形されている。

Claims (3)
- 合成樹脂製のエアクリーナケースの内部空間をダーティサイド側とクリーンサイド側とに区画するようにエアクリーナエレメントが配設されてなる内燃機関のエアクリーナであって、
上記エアクリーナケースの一部として、上記内部空間に一端が開放された筒状に形成されるとともに、他端に外部に連通した連通孔を備えた吸気音低減装置用ケース部と、
この吸気音低減装置用ケース部内に収容され、基端が開口するとともに先端が封止された略円筒状をなし、かつ周壁が蛇腹状に屈曲形成されてなる弾性部材と、
上記吸気音低減装置用ケース部の一端の開口を覆うように取り付けられ、上記弾性部材の上記基端を保持するベースプレートと、
上記弾性部材の内部に形成される容積室を上記内部空間に連通させるように上記ベースプレートを貫通して設けられた連通管と、
からなる吸気音低減装置を内蔵しており、
上記エアクリーナケースは、上記エアクリーナエレメントが装着される矩形の開口部を備えたボディと、上記開口部を覆うように上記ボディに取り付けられるカバーと、から構成されており、
上記吸気音低減装置用ケース部は、上記ボディの底部に、上記開口部へ向かって一端が開口した筒状に成形されている、ことを特徴とする内燃機関のエアクリーナ。 - 上記蛇腹状弾性部材の軸方向の伸縮による共振周波数が、30〜200Hzの範囲内に設定されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のエアクリーナ。
- 上記吸気音低減装置がダーティサイド側に配置されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関のエアクリーナ。
