Claims (3)
- プラズマ切断トーチに設けた電極にプラズマ電流を印加するのに先立って、電極の周囲にスタートガスを供給し、電極にプラズマ電流を印加してプラズマアークが予め設定された電流値に立ち上がる過程で、前記スタートガスをプラズマガスに切り換えるようにしたプラズマ切断装置であって、
スタートガス供給源と、スタートガス配管に設けたスタートガス電磁弁と、を有し、電極にスタートガスを供給するスタートガス供給部と、
プラズマガス供給源と、プラズマガス配管に設けたプラズマガス電磁弁と、を有し、電極にプラズマガスを供給するプラズマガス供給部と、
前記スタートガス供給部の下流側端部と前記プラズマガス供給部の下流側端部を接続するプラズマガス接続部と、
流量保持部材を有し、一端が前記プラズマガス接続部に他端がプラズマ切断トーチに接続され、電極にスタートガス又はスタートガスとプラズマガスが混合したガス或いはプラズマガスを供給するガス配管部と、
プラズマ切断トーチに設けた電極にプラズマ電流を印加するのに先立って、前記流量保持部材に対し保持すべき前記ガス配管部に於ける流量を指示すると共に前記スタートガス電磁弁を開放し、電極にプラズマ電流を印加してプラズマアークが予め設定された電流値に立ち上がる過程で、前記プラズマガス電磁弁を開放し、その後、前記スタートガス電磁弁を閉鎖するように制御する制御装置と、
を有することを特徴とするプラズマ切断装置。 - 前記スタートガスは、前記プラズマガスの酸素濃度よりも低い酸素濃度のガスであるか、又は酸素を含まないガスであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載したプラズマ切断装置。
- 前記流量保持部材は、前記プラズマガス接続部から供給されるスタートガス又はプラズマガス或いはスタートガス及びプラズマガスの流量が変化したとき、変化した流量を予め設定された流量に保持するものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載したプラズマ切断装置。
