Description
本願は、「Cookware With Selectively Bonded Layers」と題されて2013年3月15日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/787,041号の優先権を主張し、参照によりその全体を本出願に組み込む。
Claims (9)
- 少なくとも2つの材料層の選択的結合複合体を含む調理器具であって、前記少なくとも2つの材料層の第1の材料層は、その面上に離間して形成された複数のバブルを有して前記調理器具の調理面を画成しており、前記少なくとも2つの材料層の第2の材料層は前記第1の材料層に結合されており、前記バブルと前記第2の材料層との間の結合の度合いが、前記バブルの中間の領域における前記第1の材料層と前記第2の材料層との間の結合の度合いよりも低いことで、熱伝導率が前記バブルの中間の領域において前記バブルの領域よりも高くなっていることを特徴とする調理器具。
- 前記調理器具は3層の選択的結合複合体であり、ステンレス鋼の第1の層の調理面、アルミニウムの第2のコア層、および前記アルミニウムの第2のコア層に結合したステンレス鋼の第3の層を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の調理器具。
- 調理器具を製造するための選択的結合複合体を作製する方法であって、
(a)第1の平面状材料を提供する工程と、
(b)第2の平面状材料を提供する工程と、
(c)第3の平面状材料を提供する工程と、
(d)複数の孔が形成された穿孔テンプレートを前記第1の平面状材料の上面に提供して配置する工程と、
(e)前記第1、第2および第3の平面状材料の法線方向に圧力を加える工程と、
(f)加圧下で前記材料に熱を加える工程と、
(g)前記第1の平面状材料の面に沿って複数の離間したバブルを形成する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1の平面状材料はステンレス鋼であり、前記第2の平面状材料はアルミニウムであり、前記第3の平面状材料はステンレス鋼であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第1、第2および第3の平面状材料は、平面視で円形状であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記穿孔テンプレートは、それを通る開口の面積が約50%を占めている穿孔領域を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(e)で加えられる圧力が15000psiから35000psiの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(f)で加えられる熱が750°Fから950°Fの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- ステンレス鋼の内側層と外側層とに挟まれたアルミニウムの中心層をもつ3層の結合構造を有する調理器具であって、前記ステンレス鋼の内側層の上の調理面が、下側の平坦部分によって囲まれた複数の離間した隆起ディンプルを有し、該隆起ディンプルの領域では、前記内側層と前記中心層との結合が、前記平坦部分と比較して小さいことで、前記隆起ディンプルが前記平坦部分よりも低い熱伝導率を有することを特徴とする調理器具。
