Description
本明細書で説明される例については、ライセンスド通信システム100は、第3世代パートナシッププロジェクト・ロング・ターム・エボリューション(3GPP LTE)通信仕様改訂版のうち少なくとも1つに従って動作するセルラシステムである。ライセンスド周波数帯の例としては、1,710〜1,755及び2,110〜2,155MHzの範囲にあるAWS(Advanced Wireless Service)4G周波数が挙げられる。アンライセンスド周波数帯は、アンライセンスド周波数帯により通信を行うにあたって政府機関からのライセンスドを必要としない周波数スペクトルの任意の部分である。しかしながら、アンライセンスド周波数帯内で動作する機器は、典型的には、規制及び/又は通信規格を固守する必要がある。アンライセンスド周波数帯の例としては、FCC規則に準拠するIEEE802.11規格(WiFi、Bluetooth、及びZigbeeなど)に使用される周波数帯が挙げられる。図1の例では、eNB104は、地理的サービスエリア(ライセンスドサービスエリア)102内のユーザ機器(UE)装置106、108、110に対して、1つ又はそれ以上のライセンスド周波数帯を用いて、無線サービスを提供する。
Claims (4)
- 基地局が、アンライセンスド周波数帯においてユーザ装置が信号を送信するか否かを判断するための監視に関するモードとして第1モード及び第2モードのうち一方を指定する情報を前記ユーザ装置へ送信し、
前記ユーザ装置が、前記基地局から前記第1モードが指定された場合に、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対する監視を実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認し、
前記ユーザ装置が、前記基地局から前記第2モードが指定された場合に、前記第1モードにおける前記監視よりも削減された監視を前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対して実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認する、方法。 - 送受信部と、制御部と、を備えるユーザ装置であって、
前記送受信部は、基地局から、アンライセンスド周波数帯において前記ユーザ装置が信号を送信するか否かを判断するための監視に関するモードとして第1モード及び第2モードのうち一方を指定する情報を受信するよう構成され、
前記制御部は、前記基地局から前記第1モードが指定された場合に、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対する監視を実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認するよう構成され、
前記制御部は、前記基地局から前記第2モードが指定された場合に、前記第1モードにおける前記監視よりも削減された監視を前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対して実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認するようさらに構成される、ユーザ装置。 - 送受信部と、制御部と、を備え、
前記送受信部は、ユーザ装置に対して、アンライセンスド周波数帯において前記ユーザ装置が信号を送信するか否かを判断するための監視に関するモードとして第1モード及び第2モードのうち一方を指定する情報を送信するよう構成され、
前記第1モードは、前記ユーザ装置が、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対する監視を実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認するモードであり、
前記第2モードは、前記ユーザ装置が、前記第1モードにおける前記監視よりも削減された監視を前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対して実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認するモードである、基地局。 - ユーザ装置を制御するための装置であって、

前記制御部は、基地局から、アンライセンスド周波数帯において前記ユーザ装置が信号を送信するか否かを判断するための監視に関するモードとして第1モード及び第2モードのうち一方を指定する情報を受信するよう構成され、
前記制御部は、前記基地局から前記第1モードが指定された場合に、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対する監視を実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認するようさらに構成され、
前記制御部は、前記基地局から前記第2モードが指定された場合に、前記第1モードにおける前記監視よりも削減された監視を前記アンライセンスド周波数帯に対して実行することによって、前記アンライセンスド周波数帯が使用中であるか否かを確認するようさらに構成される、装置。
