Description
この環境配慮型泡消火薬剤は、その有効成分として炭化水素系アニオン界面活性剤と炭化水素系両性界面活性剤と増粘剤を含むものである。
表1に示すように、炭化水素系アニオン界面活性剤であるアルファオレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウム(商品名「リポランLB-440」、ライオン(株)製:RCH=CH(CH2)nSO3Na(Rの炭素数14)と、炭化水素系両性界面活性剤であるラウリルジメチルアミノ酢酸ベタイン(商品名「アンヒトール20BS」、花王(株)製:C 12 H 25 N + (CH3)2CH2COO − と、キサンタンガム(商品名「エコーガムRD」、DSP五協フード&ケミカル(株))を用い、50%硫酸(試薬1級)にてpHを調整して、環境配慮型泡消火薬剤を作成した。
このようにして得られた環境配慮型泡消火薬剤3mlを、水97mlに希釈調整して、以下の試験を行った。
昭和34年4月22日政令第147号;下水道法令施行令に基づき、下水の排除基準の試験を行なった。表2はその結果を示すものである。
試験条件
標準発泡ノズル:合成界面活性剤泡消火薬剤試験用
泡採取容器:泡試料コンテナ(容量:1400ml)
放水量:10.0L/分
放水圧力:0.7MPa
水温・気温:20±2℃
発泡倍率(倍)=1400/気泡の質量(g)
25%還元量(g)= 泡沫の質量(g)×25%
(判定基準)発泡倍率6倍以上、25%還元時間1分以上
消火試験は、3%に希釈した環境配慮型泡消火薬剤を合成界面活性剤泡消火薬剤試験用標準発泡ノズルで8分間放出し、消火するまでの時間を計測した。
試験条件
標準発泡ノズル:合成界面活性剤泡消火薬剤試験用
放水量:10.0L/分
放水圧力:0.7MPa
水温・気温:20±2℃
試験装置:鉄製燃焼皿(長さ:200cm、幅:200cm、深さ:30cm)
(判定基準)8分間放射し、5分以内に消火するものであること。
表3は、これらの結果を示すものである。
先ず、表4に示す配合によって実施例1〜3および比較例1、2の泡消火薬剤を作製し、50%硫酸(試薬1級、和光純薬工業(株)製)にてpHを調整した泡消火薬剤3mlと水97mlについて、生物化学的酸素要求量(BOD)と、上述した試験と同様に合成界面活性剤泡消火薬剤試験用標準発泡ノズルを用いて発泡試験を行い、発泡率と25%還元時間の測定を行った。
生物化学的酸素要求量(BOD)は、JIS K0102−21に準じて試験を行った。
希釈水の調整:ばっ気した水1lにA液、B液、C液、D液、を各1ml加える。
A液:リン酸水素二カリウム21.75g、リン酸二水素カリウム8.5g、リン酸水素ナトリウム・12水44.6g、塩化アンモニウム1.7gを水に溶かした1000mlとする。
B液:硫酸マグネシウム七水和物22.5gを水に溶かした1000mlとする。
C液:塩化カルシウム27.5gを水に溶かした1000mlとする。
D液:塩化鉄(III)六水和物1.6gを水に溶かした1000mlとする。
有栓形メスシリンダー1000mlに希釈液を約半分入れ、前処理した試料を加え、希釈水で1000mlとする。栓をして静かに混合する。同様に、希釈倍率の異なる物を調整する。培養瓶に希釈試料を入れ、1本は培養前の試料とし、他は20±1℃に調整した恒温槽に入れて5日間培養する。
BOD=(D1−D2)/P
ここで、BOD:生物化学的酸素要求量(mgO/l)
D1:希釈試料を調整してから15分間後の溶存酸素(mgO/l)
D2:培養後の希釈試料の溶存酸素(mgO/l)
P:希釈資料中の試料の占める割合(試料/希釈試料)である。
溶存酸素測定器に亜硫酸ナトリウム(25g→500ml)を注入し、マグネットスターラーで攪拌しながら電極を挿入してゼロ調整を行う。次に、溶存酸素飽和水を注入して「JIS K0102 表32.1水中の飽和溶存酸素」から指示値を合わせる。次に、試料を注入して生物化学的酸素要求量(BOD)を測定する。
表5は、上記試験の結果を示すものである。

- 有効成分として、
一般式:RCH=CH(CH 2 ) n SO 3 Z(Rは炭素数8〜30の脂肪族炭化水素基、nは0〜5、Zはアルカリ金属および/またはアルカリ土類金属)で表されるアルファオレフィンスルホン酸塩と、
化学式:C 12 H 25 N + (CH 3 ) 2 CH 2 COO − で表されるラウリルジメチルアミノ酢酸ベタインと、
キサンタンガムを含む増粘剤とを含む環境配慮型泡消火薬剤であって、
上記キサンタンガムの有効成分濃度は、0.05重量%以上0.15重量%以下であることを特徴とする環境配慮型泡消火薬剤。 - 生物化学的酸素要求量が390mg/L以上550mg/L以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の環境配慮型泡消火薬剤。
- 上記アルファオレフィンスルホン酸塩の有効成分濃度が2.9重量%であり、上記ラウリルジメチルアミノ酢酸ベタインの有効成分濃度が0.3重量%であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の環境配慮型泡消火薬剤。
