Description
なお、上述した本実施の形態において、例えば、図7に示すように、分析用バッファタンク30の貯留空間31に貯留された培地を、循環ライン70によって循環させるようにしてもよい。図7に示す形態においては、培地フィルター11とアウトレット開閉弁12との間に第1循環切替弁71が設けられ、第2アウトレットポンプ17とアウトレット切替弁18との間に、第2循環切替弁72が設けられている。第1循環切替弁71と第2循環切替弁72とを、循環ライン70が連結している。なお、図7においては、図面を明瞭にするために、アウトレット洗浄液供給源20は省略している。
また、上述した本実施の形態においては、本発明によるバッファタンクを、図1に示す分析用バッファタンク30に適用した例について説明した。しかしながら、このことに限られることはなく、本発明によるバッファタンクを、図1に示す新液用バッファタンク6に適用してもよい。この場合、インレットヒータ5により加熱された培地が新液用バッファタンク6内で均質化されるまでの時間を短縮することができる。このため、培養容器100の通路104内に供給された培地を均質化させることができ、培養される細胞の品質を向上させることができる。

Claims (11)
- 細胞培養用の培地を貯留するバッファタンクであって、
鉛直方向に延びる円筒状の内側面と、前記内側面の下方に設けられた逆円錐状の貯留底面と、前記内側面および前記貯留底面により画定され、前記培地を貯留する貯留空間と、を有するタンク本体と、
前記タンク本体の前記貯留底面から前記貯留空間に前記培地を注入する注入部と、
前記貯留空間に貯留された前記培地を排出する排出部と、を備え、
前記注入部は、前記タンク本体を貫通する注入路と、前記注入路の下流側端部に設けられた注入開口と、を有し、
前記注入開口は、前記貯留底面に形成され、
前記注入部が、前記タンク本体の前記内側面の中心軸線に向かって、前記中心軸線に対して斜め上方に前記培地を注入するように、前記注入路は、前記中心軸線に対して傾斜している、バッファタンク。 - 前記注入部は、前記中心軸線と前記注入部とを含む断面において前記貯留底面を一対の母線として見たときに、前記注入部が設けられた側の前記母線とは反対側の前記母線に平行な方向に前記培地を注入する、請求項1に記載のバッファタンク。
- 前記注入路は、前記中心軸線と前記注入開口とを含む平面に沿って延びている、請求項1または2に記載のバッファタンク。
- 前記排出部は、前記タンク本体の前記貯留底面の最下点に設けられた排出開口を有している、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のバッファタンク。
- 前記貯留空間に貯留された前記培地の液面レベルを検出する液面センサを更に備えた、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のバッファタンク。
- 前記貯留空間に貯留された前記培地の成分を分析する分析装置を更に備えた、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のバッファタンク。
- 前記分析装置は、前記培地のpHを計測するpH計測センサ、前記培地の溶存酸素濃度を計測する酸素濃度センサ、および前記培地の二酸化炭素濃度を計測する二酸化炭素濃度センサのうちの少なくとも一つを有している、請求項6に記載のバッファタンク。
- 前記タンク本体の周囲に設けられ、前記タンク本体を加熱する加熱部を更に備えた、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載のバッファタンク。
- 培養容器を保持可能な容器保持部と、
前記容器保持部に保持された前記培養容器から排出される前記培地を分析する培地分析部と、
前記容器保持部と前記培地分析部との間に設けられ、前記容器保持部に保持された前記培養容器から排出される前記培地を貯留する、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の前記バッファタンクと、を備えた、培養システム。 - 前記バッファタンクの前記貯留空間に貯留された前記培地を循環する循環ラインを更に備えた、請求項9に記載の培養システム。
- 新しい培地を供給する培地供給源と、
培養容器を保持可能な容器保持部と、
前記培地供給源と前記容器保持部との間に設けられ、前記培地供給源から供給される新しい前記培地を貯留する請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の前記バッファタンクと、を備えた、培養システム。
