Description
前記茎部生長抑制期間には、前記葉茎菜類の前記葉部に、前記葉部の生長を促す赤色成分の高い葉部生長促進光源からの光を照射する葉茎菜類育成方法である。
請求項5に係る発明の構成上の特徴は、前記茎部生長抑制光源装置は、前記葉茎菜類に対向する基板の中央部に設けられ、前記葉部生長促進光源装置は、前記基板の周辺部に設けられ、前記基板を上下動可能に支持し、前記葉茎菜類の育成状況に応じて前記基板を上下に移動させる光源支持装置をさらに備えた請求項4に記載の葉茎菜類育成用光源装置である。
また、茎部生長抑制期間に、葉部には葉部生長を促す赤色成分の高い葉部生長促進光源からの光を照射する。そのため、食用に供される葉部の生長が促進され、食材として商品価値の高い葉茎菜類を育成することができ、収穫量を増大させることができる。
請求項5に係る発明によると、葉茎菜類の育成状況に応じて、育成する葉茎菜類に対向する任意の位置に葉茎菜類育成用光源装置を移動可能に支持するようになっている。
以下、本発明に係る葉茎菜類育成用光源装置を備えた葉茎菜類育成装置を用いて葉茎菜類を育成する方法について図に基づいて以下に説明する。本実施形態では、葉茎菜類としてリーフレタス2を使用した。葉茎菜類育成装置4は、図1に示すように、LEDを有する葉茎菜類育成用光源装置6、葉茎菜類育成用光源装置6を支持してリーフレタスの任意の位置に対応させる光源支持装置8、葉茎菜類育成用光源装置6に電気を供給する電力供給部10、および葉茎菜類育成用光源装置6の照射するLEDの種類や光の強さを制御する照射制御装置12を備えている。
まず、リーフレタス2の種まきを行い、水遣りをする。そして、図4に示すよう、種まきより双葉24が発芽し、茎部26と葉部28とが区別ができるようになった例えば種まきより3〜10日目(生長初期時期に対応)に、成長点のある茎部26の頂部には青色LED14bのみを、葉部28には赤色LED14rを照射する。照射時間は例えば一日あたり16時間とし、照射する光の強さは、例えば50μmol m-2s-1を照射する。
Claims (5)
- 光を照射して葉茎菜類を育成する葉茎菜類育成方法であって、
茎部と葉部とが区別できる少なくとも生長初期時期に、前記茎部の頂部に、前記茎部の生長を抑制する青色成分の高い茎部生長抑制光源からの光を照射する茎部生長抑制期間を設け、前記茎部生長抑制期間には、前記葉茎菜類の前記葉部に、前記葉部の生長を促す赤色成分の高い葉部生長促進光源からの光を照射する葉茎菜類育成方法。 - 前記葉茎菜類は、非結球のちしゃ類、小松菜、チンゲン菜及びほうれん草のいずれかである請求項1に記載の葉茎菜類育成方法。
- 前記茎部生長抑制光源は、LEDまたは有機ELである請求項1または2に記載の葉茎菜類育成方法。
- 光を照射して葉茎菜類を育成する葉茎菜類育成用光源装置であって、
前記葉茎菜類の茎部に対向する部分に、茎部の生長を抑制する青色成分の高い茎部生長抑制光を照射する茎部生長抑制光源装置と、
前記葉茎菜類の葉部に対向する部分に、葉部の生長を促す赤色成分の高い葉部生長促進光を照射する葉部生長促進光源装置と、を備えた葉茎菜類育成用光源装置。 - 前記茎部生長抑制光源装置は、前記葉茎菜類に対向する基板の中央部に設けられ、
前記葉部生長促進光源装置は、前記基板の周辺部に設けられ、
前記基板を上下動可能に支持し、前記葉茎菜類の育成状況に応じて前記基板を上下に移動させる光源支持装置をさらに備えた請求項4に記載の葉茎菜類育成用光源装置。
