Claims (3)
- 球状部と軸部とを有するスタッドにおける前記球状部をソケットに収容するとともに、前記軸部にナックルを締結したボールジョイントに装着されるダストカバーにおいて、
前記ダストカバーは、前記ソケットの外周面に固定される大径開口部と、前記スタッドの軸部に取り付けられる小径開口部と、前記大径開口部と前記小径開口部との間を連結する膜部とを備え、
前記小径開口部は、前記軸部の外周面と密接するシール部と、前記ナックルに密接する接触部とを備え、
前記接触部には、前記小径開口部に堆積しようとする外部異物を外部へ排出する異物排出溝が形成されており、
前記異物排出溝は、径方向に対して斜めに配置されている、
ことを特徴とするダストカバー。 - 請求項1に記載のダストカバーにおいて、
前記異物排出溝は、内径方向から外径方向に向けてらせん状をなすことを特徴とするダストカバー。 - 請求項1又は3に記載のダストカバーにおいて、
前記小径開口部には、前記接触部の外径側から前記大径開口部側に向けて傾斜する傾斜部が形成されていることを特徴とするダストカバー。
