Claims (17)
- 物体(18)を検出するための方法であって、
光源(12)を用いて発信光(14)のパルスが検出領域(16)へ繰り返し送出され、
前記検出領域(16)から受け取った受信光(22)が複数の検出器(30)を有する検出装置(28)で捕らえられ、
複数の検出器(30)を含む領域であって、その内側で受信光(22)が前記複数の検出器に当たるような評価領域(32)が定められる
物体検出方法において、
前記評価領域(32)の内側に複数の部分領域(34)が定められ、
複数の互いに相前後する発信光(14)のパルスを用いて、前記受信光(22)の評価が前記複数の部分領域(34)に順次分配されるよう、前記複数の部分領域(34)の少なくとも一部が順次評価され、
それら部分領域の評価が組み合わされて、前記検出領域(16)内の物体(18)の有無が確認されること、
を特徴とする方法。 - 前記受信光(22)の強度に基づいて前記評価領域(34)の位置及び/又は大きさが確定されること、を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- いずれの部分領域(34)も同数の検出器(30)を含むこと、を特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの部分領域(34)の面が長方形又は正方形であること、を特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2つの部分領域(34)が少なくとも部分的に重なり合う又は互いに境界を接していること、を特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 全ての部分領域(34)が異なる態様で選択されること、を特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 各部分領域(34)の評価のために1個より多い発信光(14)のパルスが用いられること、を特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも50個のパルスが用いられること、を特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも250個のパルスが用いられること、を特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記部分領域(34)の評価の順序が基準点に対する各部分領域(34)の距離に応じて決められること、を特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記発信光(14)の送出とそれに対応する前記(22)受信光の捕捉との間の時間の長さに基づいて前記(16)検出領域における物体(18)の有無及び/又は距離を確定すること、を特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記検出器(30)がシングルフォトンアバランシェダイオード(SPAD)であること、を特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記検出器(30)が、前記発信光(14)の送出から前記受信光(22)の捕捉までの時間の長さを特定するために、時間デジタル変換器(TDC)と結合されていること、を特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 各時点において評価される部分領域(34)内にある検出器(30)のみが時間デジタル変換器に結合されること、を特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 光源(12)と、複数の検出器(30)を備える検出装置(28)とを有する物体検出装置(10)において、
請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の方法を実施するように構成された制御ユニットを備えること、を特徴とする装置。 - 前記検出器(30)がシングルフォトンアバランシェダイオード(SPAD)であること、を特徴とする請求項15に記載の装置(10)。
- 前記検出器(30)の少なくとも一部が時間デジタル変換器(TDC)に結合されていること、を特徴とする請求項15又は16に記載の装置(10)。
