Description
Claims (6)
- 第1の基板と第2の基板の間に液晶を挟持し、タッチパネルの機能を兼用する液晶表示パネルを有する液晶表示装置の製造方法であって、
前記第1の基板の液晶層に対向する面の反対側の面に第1の方向に延在するように第1の電極を形成する工程と、
前記第1の電極を覆ってインクジェットによって保護膜を塗布する工程と、
前記保護膜を検査して保護膜が存在しない欠陥領域を検出する工程と、
前記欠陥領域にインクジェットによって保護膜材料を充填する工程と、
前記保護膜を硬化させる工程と、
前記保護膜を硬化させた後、前記保護膜の表面を粗面化する工程と、
前記保護膜の表面に粘着材を介して偏光板を貼り付ける工程と、を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記保護膜の表面に形成される粗面の表面粗さは、Rzで、0.05μm以上、0.5μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記保護膜の表面に形成される粗面の表面粗さは、Rzで、0.05μm以上、0.2μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 第1の基板と第2の基板の間に液晶を挟持し、タッチパネルの機能を兼用する液晶表示パネルを有する液晶表示装置の製造方法であって、
前記第1の基板の液晶層に対向する面と反対側の面側に第1の方向に延在するように第1の電極を形成する工程と、
前記第1の電極を覆ってインクジェットによって保護膜を塗布する第1塗布工程と、
前記保護膜を覆ってインクジェットによって再度前記保護膜を塗布する第2塗布工程と、
前記保護膜を硬化させる工程と、
前記保護膜を硬化させた後、前記保護膜の表面を粗面化する工程と、
前記保護膜の表面に粘着材を介して偏光板を貼り付ける工程と、を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記第2の保護膜の表面に形成される粗面の表面粗さは、Rzで、0.05μm以上、0.5μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記第2の保護膜の表面に形成される粗面の表面粗さは、Rzで、0.05μm以上、0.2μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
