Claims (18)
- グラシン紙の製造方法であって、以下の連続するステップ、即ち
抄紙機(10)のフォーミング部(12)においてペーパー・ウェブを形成すること、並びに前記抄紙機(10)のプレス部(14)及び前記抄紙機(10)前乾燥部(16)において前記ウェブを乾燥させることによって、前記抄紙機(10)で紙を作るステップと、
前記抄紙機(10)において前記ウェブの両面に被膜形成物質を塗布するステップ(18)と、
前記抄紙機(10)の後乾燥部(20)において、前記ウェブに塗布した前記被膜形成物質から水分を除去するステップであって、前記ウェブの乾燥中、前記ウェブの水分CDプロファイルが、熱をCD方向に調節可能に伝達することにより制御されるステップと、
表面に被膜形成物質を有する前記ウェブを、前記抄紙機(10)のカレンダー処理部においてオンライン式カレンダー工程(22)に通すステップであって、前記カレンダー工程が、少なくとも1つのマルチ・ニップ・カレンダー内の少なくとも4つの連続したニップを有し、前記マルチ・ニップ・カレンダーが、連続した硬質表面ロール及び軟質表面ロールを有し、前記硬質表面ロールが加熱可能であり、前記加熱可能なロールの温度が制御され、前記少なくとも1つのマルチ・ニップ・カレンダーにおいて前記ウェブのCD厚さプロファイルが前記カレンダー処理部のニップ負荷を制御することによって制御され、そして前記ウェブの密度が高められ、且つ前記ウェブの透明度が48%以上に高められるステップと、
前記抄紙機(10)の巻取り部においてグラシン紙を巻き取るステップ(24)と
を含むグラシン紙の製造方法。 - 前記カレンダー工程が、前記少なくとも1つのマルチ・ニップ・カレンダー(22.1、22.2)内の幾つかの連続したニップにおいてカレンダー処理することを含む、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記カレンダー工程が、少なくとも第1のカレンダー部(22.1)における第1のカレンダー処理と、第2のカレンダー部(22.2)における第2のカレンダー処理とを含む、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記カレンダー工程が、前記第1及び第2のカレンダー処理の間でウェブ張力を制御することを含む、請求項3に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記カレンダー工程が、前記カレンダー部のうちのいずれかに前記ウェブを渡す前に凝縮蒸気により前記ウェブに水を付与することを含む、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記カレンダー工程が、前記カレンダー部のうちのいずれかに前記ウェブを渡す前に前記ウェブを冷却し且つ凝縮蒸気により前記ウェブに水を付与することを含む、請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記第1のカレンダー処理が、少なくとも4つの連続したカレンダー・ニップにおいて前記ウェブを処理することを含む、請求項3に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記第2のカレンダー処理が、少なくとも2つの連続したカレンダー・ニップにおいて前記ウェブを処理することを含む、請求項3に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記水分CDプロファイルの制御が、前記カレンダー処理に入る前記ウェブの含水率プロファイルに基づく、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記水分CDプロファイルの制御が、前記巻取り部(26)の前の前記ウェブの前記含水率プロファイルに基づく、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記前乾燥部において前記ウェブから水分を除去し、前記紙の両面に被膜形成物質を塗布することが、前記プレス部(14)においてCD方向に調節可能に前記ウェブに熱(26)を伝達することにより前記ウェブの水分CDプロファイルを制御するステップを含み、また、水分CDプロファイルの制御が、被膜塗布及び/又は含浸システム(18)の前の前記ウェブの前記含水率プロファイルに基づく、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記プレス部により前記ウェブを乾燥させることが、プレスニップへの進入に先立ってCD方向に調節可能に前記ウェブに熱を伝達することにより前記ウェブの水分CDプロファイルを制御するステップを含み、また、水分CDプロファイルの制御が、ベース紙の両面に被膜形成物質を塗布する工程に入る前の記ウェブの前記含水率プロファイルに基づく、請求項1又は11に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記加熱シリンダの温度が、170〜240℃であるように制御され、また、前記第1のカレンダー部及び前記第2のカレンダー部のニップ負荷が、270〜400kN/mであるように制御される、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記ウェブに対して目標カレンダー工程含水率が設定され、また、前記ウェブの前記目標含水率が、前記後乾燥部において前記ウェブを乾燥させることによって達成される、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記後乾燥部が、前記目標含水率が達成される程度までウェブ含水率を高めることによって前記目標カレンダー含水率が得られるように動作される、請求項14に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記ウェブが、カレンダー後乾燥部(26)においてさらに乾燥され、結果として最終含水率をもたらす、請求項14又は15に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記カレンダー工程が、高められた含水率で行われ、また、前記ウェブが、カレンダー後乾燥部(26)において乾燥され、結果として最終含水率をもたらす、請求項1に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
- 前記ウェブは、先行する前記カレンダー工程で得られた表面品質が維持又は向上されるように選択された表面粗さを有するシリンダによって乾燥される、請求項16又は17に記載のグラシン紙の製造方法。
