Description
本出願は、2012年6月1日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/654,445号の優先権を主張する。この特許の開示は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は、ソーラーパネル技術で利用される導電性ペーストに関する。具体的には、一態様では、本発明は、従来のペースト組成物に比べて銀析出を減らす一方で、同等の、または改善された太陽電池効率を実現する導電性ペースト組成物に関する。
本発明は、導電性ペースト組成物に関する。導電性ペースト組成物は、好ましくは、金属粒子、ガラスフリット、および有機ビヒクルを含む。このような用途に限定されないが、このようなペーストは、太陽電池上の電気接触層または電極を形成するために使用できる。具体的には、ペーストは、太陽電池の前面または太陽電池の裏面に塗布できる。
表1に示すように、第1のセットの代表的ペースト(26A〜26Eと呼ぶ)を調製し、ペースト中の銀含量の減少が、得られた電気的性能に与える影響を確認した。銀含量が減少するに伴い、有機ビヒクル配合をわずかに変えて、ペーストの粘度を補った。各代表的ペーストに同じガラスフリットを使ったが、ガラスフリットの量を、銀を減らしたのに伴い、わずかに調節して、ガラスに対する銀の比率を可能な限り一定に保持した。ペーストが混合されるとすぐに、均一分散ペーストになるまで3本ロールミルにかけた。
表3に示すように、全てが約80wt.%銀含量を有する第2のセットの代表的ペースト(26G〜26Nと呼ぶ)を調製した。代表的ペースト26K〜26Nは、それぞれ、2〜3m2/gの比表面積を有するサブミクロンの銀粒子を含む。ペースト26Kおよび26Lは、脱凝集化サブミクロン銀粉末(SA)を含み、一方、ペースト26Mおよび26Nは、凝集型のサブミクロン銀粉末(SB)を含む。各代表的ペーストで、同じガラスフリットおよび溶媒配合を使った。ペーストの成分が混合されるとすぐに、均一分散ペーストになるまで3本ロールミルにかけた。
表5に示すように、第3のセットの代表的ペースト(26O、26R、26Nおよび26Sと呼ぶ)を調製し、脱凝集および凝集サブミクロン銀粉末の添加量の増加の効果を実施例2と比較して、例証した。それぞれの代表的ペーストをそれぞれの量を少し変更して、同じガラスフリットおよびビヒクル配合を使った。ペーストの成分を混合するとすぐに、均一分散ペーストになるまで3本ロールミルにかけた。
Claims (11)
- 太陽電池上の表面電極形成に使用する導電性ペーストであって、
1ミクロン未満の平均粒径および2〜3m2/gの比表面積を有する第1の銀粒子をペーストの2〜7wt.%含み、かつ
1ミクロンを超える平均粒径を有する第2の銀粒子をペーストの73〜78wt.%含む銀成分;
ガラスフリット;および
有機ビヒクル、
を含む導電性ペースト。 - 合計銀成分が、ペーストの83.5wt.%未満である請求項1に記載の導電性ペースト。
- ガラスフリットが、ペーストの5wt.%である請求項1に記載の導電性ペースト。
- ガラスフリットが、鉛酸化物を含む請求項1に記載の導電性ペースト。
- 有機ビヒクルが、バインダー、界面活性剤、有機溶媒、およびチキソトロピー剤を含む請求項1に記載の導電性ペースト。
- チキソトロピー剤が、有機ビヒクルの0.01〜20wt.%である請求項5に記載の導電性ペースト。
- チキソトロピー剤が、有機ビヒクルの5〜20wt.%である請求項6に記載の導電性ペースト。
- チキソトロピー剤がペーストの1wt.%超である、請求項5〜7のいずれか一項に記載の導電性ペースト。
- シリコンウエハー;および
請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の導電性ペースト、
から作製した表面電極を含む太陽電池。 - 請求項9に記載のように電気的に相互接続された太陽電池を含む太陽電池モジュール。
- 太陽電池を作製する方法であって、
シリコンウエハーの提供;
請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の導電性ペーストのシリコンウエハーへの塗布;および
シリコンウエハーの800〜850℃の温度での焼成、
のステップを含む方法。
