図1は、本発明の実施の形態1にかかる電動機の概略構成を示す斜視図である。電動機51は、筒状形状を呈するステータ1と、ステータ1の内側に設けられてステータ1の中心軸Cを中心に回転するロータ3と、を備える。

- 円筒状または円柱状を呈する鉄心と、
前記鉄心の中心軸に対して円周方向に等間隔に配置されて前記鉄心に嵌め込まれた複数の磁石と、を備え、
前記鉄心は、前記鉄心の第1の端面を含む第1の端面部と、前記第1の端面の反対側となる第2の端面を含む第2の端面部と、前記第1の端面部と前記第2の端面部との間に設けられた中央部と、を有し、
前記複数の磁石のそれぞれは、前記第1の端面部、前記第2の端面部、および前記中央部に貫通され、
前記鉄心には、前記第1の端面部から前記第2の端面部に貫通する複数の第1の空隙と、前記第1の端面部から形成されて前記中央部に至らない複数の第2の空隙と、が形成され、
前記第1の空隙と前記第2の空隙は交互に並べて形成されるロータ。 - 前記鉄心には、前記第2の端面部から形成されて前記中央部に至らない複数の第3の空隙が形成され、
前記第1の空隙と前記第3の空隙は交互に並べて形成される請求項1に記載のロータ。 - 前記第2の空隙と前記第3の空隙は前記中央部を挟んで互いに対向する位置に形成される請求項2に記載のロータ。
- 前記中心軸に沿った方向における、前記第1の端面部の長さと前記第2の端面部の長さと前記中央部の長さの和をXrとし、前記中央部の長さをXrcとした場合に、
0.82 ≦ Xrc/Xr ≦ 0.9の関係を満たす請求項3に記載のロータ。 - 前記磁石は、希土類磁石である請求項1に記載のロータ。
- 筒状形状を呈するステータと、
前記ステータの内側に前記鉄心の中心軸を中心に回転可能に設けられた請求項1に記載のロータと、を備える電動機。 - 請求項6に記載の電動機を備える圧縮機。
- 請求項7に記載の圧縮機を備える冷凍空調機。
