Claims (12)
- 真空断熱ガラス(VIG)窓ユニットであって、
排気管を受容する穴がその中に形成された第1基板を含み、前記穴が前記排気管の外径よりも0.05〜0.2mmの範囲内で大きい単一直径を有し、前記穴に挿入される前記排気管の端部が前記第1基板の内表面と実質上同一平面となる、
真空断熱ガラス窓ユニット。 - 前記穴の前記単一直径が、前記排気管の外径よりも0.1〜0.15mmの範囲内で大きい、
請求項1に記載の真空断熱ガラス窓ユニット。 - 前記穴の前記単一直径が、前記排気管の外径よりも0.1mm大きい、
請求項1〜2のいずれか一項に記載の真空断熱ガラス窓ユニット。 - 前記第1基板がガラスから構成されている、
請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の真空断熱ガラス窓ユニット。 - 前記真空断熱ガラス窓ユニットが、
第2基板と、
複数のスペーサと、
端部シールと、を更に備えており、
前記第1基板及び前記第2基板が、前記複数のスペーサ及びそれらの間の前記端部シールを挟持することで前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に前記キャビティを形成するように配置されており、前記キャビティが、前記排気管を介して大気圧未満の圧力まで真空引きされる、
請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の真空断熱ガラス窓ユニット。 - 真空断熱ガラス窓ユニットであって、
排気管を受容するための穴がその中に形成された第1基板を含み、前記穴が、第1部分及び第2部分を含み、前記第1部分の直径は前記第2部分よりも大きく、前記第1部分は前記第1基板の外表面周辺にあり、前記第2部分は、前記第1部分の周辺でかつ前記第1基板の内表面周辺にあり、前記第2部分は、前記排気管の外径よりも0.05〜0.2mmの範囲内で大きい直径を有し、そして前記第1部分は、前記排気管の外径よりも0.5〜2.0mmの範囲内で大きい直径を有し、
前記穴に挿入される前記排気管の端部が前記第1基板の前記内表面と実質上同一平面となり、
前記穴の前記第1部分の深さが、前記第1基板の厚さの4分の1〜2分の1の範囲内であり、また、前記穴の前記第2部分の深さは、前記第1基板の厚さの2分の1〜4分の3の範囲内である、
真空断熱ガラス窓ユニット。 - 前記真空断熱ガラスが、
前記第1基板に形成された前記穴の前記第1部分及び前記第2部分に少なくとも部分的に配置された前記排気管と、
第2基板と、
複数のスペーサと、
端部シールと、を備えており、
前記第1基板及び前記第2基板が、少なくとも前記複数のスペーサ及びそれらの間の前記端部シールを挟持することで前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に前記キャビティを形成するように配置されており、前記キャビティの圧力が大気圧未満である、
請求項6に記載の真空断熱ガラス窓ユニット。 - 真空断熱ガラス窓ユニットの製造方法であって、
排気管を受容する穴であって、前記排気管の外径よりも0.05〜0.2mmの範囲内で大きい単一直径を有する穴が形成された第1ガラス基板を供給する工程と、
前記排気管の端部が前記第1ガラス基板の内表面と実質上同一平面となるように、前記排気管を前記第1ガラス基板に形成された前記穴に挿入する工程と、
を含む真空断熱ガラス窓ユニットの製造方法。 - 前記第1ガラス基板と第2ガラス基板との間に形成されたキャビティを、前記排気管を利用して大気圧未満の圧力まで真空引きする工程を更に含む、
請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記第1基板の少なくとも一部を、その中に挿入された前記排気管と共に焼成して、前記排気管と前記第1基板との間に気密性シールを形成する工程を更に含む、
請求項8又は9に記載の方法。 - 前記穴の前記単一直径が、前記排気管の外径よりも0.1〜0.15mmの範囲内で大きい、
請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 第1ドリルビットを用いて前記第1基板の第1面からドリル加工し、そして第2のドリルビットを用いて前記第1基板の前記第1面とは反対側の第2面からドリル加工することによって、前記第1基板に前記穴を形成する工程を更に含む、
請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
