Claims (25)
- 触媒として使用するための、結晶性で、修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料であって、19:1超〜50:1の四価元素の酸化物と三価元素の酸化物のモル比を含み、
X線回折パターンにおいて、2θ°が8.22、9.68、14.51、15.55、17.9、18.58、19.3、19.66、21.5及び27.4でSSZ−23ゼオライト相の存在に起因するピークを有し、他のピークは、SSZ−13ゼオライト相の存在に起因するピークである、
前記修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。 - 前記ゼオライト型材料が、銅、鉄、コバルト、ジルコニウム、チタン及びその混合物の群からの1つとして選択される金属をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 前記金属を含有するゼオライト型材料が、選択触媒還元(SCR)反応における触媒として機能する、請求項2に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 前記触媒中に存在する前記金属が、ゼオライト触媒の全重量に対して0.3〜10.0%の範囲である、請求項2又は3に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 前記ゼオライト型材料は、アンモニア温度脱着及びn−プロピルアミン温度脱着が、SSZ−13ゼオライトの対応する脱着よりも、それぞれ少なくとも1.4及び2.0倍大きい前記アンモニア温度脱着及び前記n−プロピルアミン温度脱着によって特徴付けられる、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 水熱熟成後の前記ゼオライト型材料は、アンモニア温度脱着及びn−プロピルアミン温度脱着が、SSZ−13ゼオライトの対応する脱着より、それぞれ少なくとも1.5及び6.5倍大きい前記アンモニア温度脱着及び前記n−プロピルアミン温度脱着によって特徴付けられる、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 前記触媒が、窒素酸化物を含有する排ガスストリームにおけるNO x 転換性能を維持するのに十分にイオン交換された金属のCu、Fe、Co、Zr、Tiを含有する、請求項2に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 水熱熟成前の前記触媒の前記NO x 転換性能が、200℃で75%である、請求項7に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 水熱熟成前の前記触媒の前記NO x 転換性能が、500℃で70%である、請求項7に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 水熱熟成後の前記触媒の前記NO x 転換性能が、200℃で30%である、請求項7に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 水熱熟成後の前記触媒の前記NO x 転換性能が、500℃で35%である、請求項7に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 前記金属含有ゼオライトが、ハニカム構造物、金属基材又は成形押出物上に固着されている、請求項2から4及び請求項7から11のいずれかに記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 前記ハニカム基材が壁流基材を含む、請求項12に記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 前記ゼオライト型材料が、0.1〜50ミクロンのD50での粒径を有する、請求項1から13のいずれかに記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
- 金属含有触媒を調製する方法であって、
請求項1から14のいずれかに記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料を硝酸で脱アルミニウム化するステップと;
脱アルミニウム化された前記ゼオライト材料に金属塩水溶液を含浸させる、又は脱アルミニウム化されたゼオライトを金属塩水溶液とイオン交換させるステップと;
Cu、Fe、Co、Zr、Ti又はその混合物の群からの1つとして選択される金属を、脱アルミニウム化された前記ゼオライト材料の骨格部位に取り込むステップと
を含む前記方法。 - 触媒が、金属を、窒素酸化物を含有する排ガスストリームにおけるNO x 転換性能を維持するのに十分な量で骨格に取り込む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 触媒を、ハニカム基材、金属基材又は押出基材上に固着させるステップをさらに含む、請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- ハニカム基材が壁流基材を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 触媒として使用するための、結晶性で、修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料を製造する方法であって、19:1超〜50:1の四価元素の酸化物と三価元素の酸化物のモル比を有するゼオライトを調製するステップを含み、
前記ゼオライトを、
前記四価元素の酸化物の供給源;前記三価元素の酸化物の供給源;アルカリ金属の供給源;及び有機構造指向剤を含む水性反応混合物を生成させるステップで、前記有機構造指向剤の少なくとも一部はN,N,N−トリメチル−1−アダマントアンモニウムヒドロキシドである前記ステップと;
前記水性混合物を、前記ゼオライト型材料の結晶を結晶化させるのに十分な結晶化条件下で保持して、X線回折パターンにおいて、2θ°が8.22、9.68、14.51、15.55、17.9、18.58、19.3、19.66、21.5及び27.4でSSZ−23ゼオライト相の存在に起因するピークを有し、他のピークがSSZ−13ゼオライト相の存在に起因するピークを示す前記ゼオライト型材料を結晶化するステップと;
前記ゼオライト結晶を回収するステップと
によって製造する、
前記方法。 - 四価元素酸化物の前記供給源が、2重量%の水分含量を有するヒュームドシリカである、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 三価元素酸化物の前記供給源が三水酸化アルミニウムである、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属カチオンが、結晶性ゼオライト型材料中の原子価電子電荷をバランスさせている、請求項19から21のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ゼオライトを、少なくとも150℃の温度に加熱するステップをさらに含む、請求項15から22のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記ゼオライトを160℃の温度に加熱する、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記ゼオライト型材料が、SSZ−13ゼオライトにおけるブレンステッド酸部位より強く、且つより多くの数で存在するブレンステッド酸部位によって特徴付けられ;
ブレンステッド酸部位が、SSZ−13ゼオライトより、50%超のn−プロピルアミン温度脱着の増大を示すゼオライト型材料をもたらす、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の修飾されたSTT型ゼオライト材料。
