Description
液晶表示装置は、液晶表示パネルPNLと、液晶表示パネルPNLを背面側から照明するバックライトBLTと、を備えている。そして液晶表示パネルPNLには、マトリクス状に配置された表示画素PXを含む表示部が設けられている。
Claims (5)
- 横電界方式の液晶表示装置において、
複数の液晶画素をマトリクス状に配列した表示パネルと、
間欠駆動によって前記液晶画素への画像信号を書き換える制御部と、を備え、
フレーム周波数が10Hz以上で20Hz以下の値であり、
使用される液晶のフレクソ係数(e11、e33)の絶対値が1.6pC/m以下であり、
前記液晶画素に使用される液晶の抵抗R1、液晶の容量C1、配向膜の抵抗R2、配向膜の容量C2との間に、R1×C1≒R2×C2なる関係が成立し、
画素に書き込まれる映像信号の極性が1フレーム毎に反転し、
輝度の平均値を1とした場合に、1フレーム内における輝度傾斜(1/sec)の絶対値が0.03以下である
液晶表示装置。 - 横電界方式の液晶表示装置において、
複数の液晶画素をマトリクス状に配列した表示パネルと、

使用される液晶のフレクソ係数(e11、e33)の絶対値が0.8pC/m以下であり、
前記液晶画素に使用される液晶の抵抗R1、液晶の容量C1、配向膜の抵抗R2、配向膜の容量C2との間に、R1×C1≒R2×C2なる関係が成立し、
画素に書き込まれる映像信号の極性が1フレーム毎に反転し、
輝度の平均値を1とした場合に、1フレーム内における輝度傾斜(1/sec)の絶対値が0.03以下である
液晶表示装置。 - 前記液晶画素に使用される液晶の抵抗率が1×1013以上で5×1014Ω・cm以下の値であり、
前記液晶画素に使用される配向膜の抵抗率が1×1013以上で5×1014Ω・cm以下の値である、
請求項1又は2に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 横電界方式の液晶表示装置において、
