Description
ポリオレフィン成分は、初めにポリオレフィン成分を水相中に分散させ、その後該水性分散液を噴霧乾燥してポリオレフィン成分の粉体を単離することによって、再分散可能な粉体として調製される。
本発明の分散液を形成するために、得られるポリマー粉体を、当該ポリマー粉体に対する分散支持媒体である有機相中に分散させる。得られたポリマー粉体を、当該ポリマー粉体に対して分散支持媒体ではない有機相中に分散させようとすると、本発明の範囲外である不安定な分散液となった。
ワイヤー巻回ドローダウンバー(12インチ又は22インチのいずれか、下記表を参照)を用いて、アルミニウム基材(All Foil Inc.より供給の無色のアルミニウム缶原料X1178591212)上に、実施例1〜6をドローダウンしてコーティングフィルムを形成する。強制空気対流炉中で、200℃にて3〜5分間(下記表を参照)コーティングを硬化し、その後、得られるコーティングをKonig硬度試験、クロスハッチ接着試験及びMEK往復ラビング試験手順を用いてキャラクタライゼーションを行う。乾燥フィルムの厚さを、渦電流コーティング厚さ測定器(BYK MP0R)を用いて決定する。試験及びキャラクタライゼーションの結果は下記の通りである。
試験はASTM D4366に準拠する。BYKガードナー振り子式硬度試験機を用い、三角形の振り子の振幅が6°から3°に低下するのに要する時間を、光センサを用いて決定する。
試験はASTM D3359、試験Bに準拠する。それぞれの方向に10の切片を有し、隣接する切片間に1ミリメートルの距離を有する正方形の格子パターンを作製する。上記格子上に感圧性テープを貼り付け、それを引き剥がす。接着を下記の評価基準に従って格付けする。
5B:切片の縁部が完全に平滑であり、格子の正方形が一切剥離していない。
4B:交差部においてコーティングの小片が剥離し、面積の5%未満が影響を受ける。
3B:縁部に沿って及び切れ目の交差部においてコーティングの小片が剥離する。影響を受ける面積が格子の5〜15%である。
試験は、ASTM D5402−06方法3に準拠するが、但し、32オンスの片側が球状の頭部を有するハンマー及びグレード50の漂白した寒冷紗を用いる点を変更した。該寒冷紗をハンマーの平坦な端部に針金で括り付け、25回の往復ラビング毎に寒冷紗をMEKに浸し直す。一つの試験板終了毎に、寒冷紗を使用していない部分に位置を変更するか、又は交換する。

有機連続相中に分散する、全分散液の1〜60重量パーセントの固形成分を含む分散液であって、前記固形成分が、
a.40〜95重量パーセントの、炭素及び水素のみを含み、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーによって決定した数平均分子量が、モル当たり400グラムを超えるポリオレフィンと、
b.5〜40重量パーセントの官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩と、
c.0〜20重量パーセントの任意選択の添加剤と、
の配合物を含み、
ポリオレフィン成分(a)、官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)及び任意選択の添加剤(c)の重量パーセントは全固形分重量に対するものであり、前記固形分は粒子として分散し、ポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)は、光学顕微鏡で決定した平均粒子径が35マイクロメートル未満であり、前記有機連続相並びにポリオレフィン(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)は、前記有機連続相が、ポリオレフィン(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)に対して分散支持媒体となるように選択される、分散液。

全分散液の重量を基準として、30重量パーセント以上の固形分を含む、態様1に記載の分散液。
(態様3)
前記アミン塩が第二級又は第三級アミン塩である、態様1又は2に記載の分散液。
(態様4)
前記任意選択の添加剤が、前記官能化ポリオレフィンとの反応性を有する架橋剤を含む、態様1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の分散液。

前記架橋剤が、酸及び無水物より選択される官能基を含むポリオレフィンより選択される、態様4に記載の分散液。

更に、塩化ビニルポリマーを含まない、態様1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の分散液。

ポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)の水性分散液を調製することと、
前記分散液を噴霧乾燥してポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)を粉体として単離することと、その後
ポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)を前記有機連続相中に分散させることと、

Claims (10)
- 有機連続相中に分散する、全分散液の1〜60重量パーセントの固形成分を含む分散液であって、前記固形成分が、
a.40〜95重量パーセントの、炭素及び水素のみを含み、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーによって決定した数平均分子量が、モル当たり400グラムを超えるポリオレフィンと、
b.5〜40重量パーセントの官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩と、
c.0〜20重量パーセントの任意選択の添加剤と、
の配合物を含み、
ポリオレフィン成分(a)、官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)及び任意選択の添加剤(c)の重量パーセントは全固形分重量に対するものであり、前記固形分は粒子として分散し、ポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)は、光学顕微鏡で決定した平均粒子径が35マイクロメートル未満であり、前記有機連続相並びにポリオレフィン(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)は、前記有機連続相が、ポリオレフィン(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)に対して分散支持媒体となるように選択され、および
有機相が前記有機連続相を形成するように、前記有機相がトルエン、2−ブトキシエタノール、およびプロピレングリコールメチルエーテルからなる群から選択される、分散液。 - 全分散液の重量を基準として、30重量パーセント以上の固形分を含む、請求項1に記載の分散液。
- 前記アミン塩が第二級又は第三級アミン塩である、請求項1又は2に記載の分散液。
- 前記任意選択の添加剤が、前記官能化ポリオレフィンとの反応性を有する架橋剤を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の分散液。
- 前記官能化ポリオレフィンが、プロトン化された酸基および非プロトン化酸基ならびに酸塩から選択される官能基を含むポリオレフィンより選択される、請求項4に記載の分散液。
- 更に、塩化ビニルポリマーを含まない、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の分散液。
- ポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)の水性分散液を調製することと、
前記分散液を噴霧乾燥してポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)を粉体として単離することと、その後
ポリオレフィン成分(a)及び官能化ポリオレフィンのアミン塩(b)を前記有機連続相中に分散させることと、
