Description
Claims (5)
- 外周面が扁平なレジンボンド砥石を使用して板状体の縁部を加工する板状体の加工方法であって、
前記レジンボンド砥石を中心軸で回転させながら、前記レジンボンド砥石の前記外周面と前記板状体の縁部とを相対的に押圧させて、前記レジンボンド砥石の前記外周面に、前記板状体の前記縁部の形状を転写させた環状の研磨用溝を作製しながら、作製した前記研磨用溝によって前記板状体の縁部を研磨する、板状体の加工方法。 - 前記板状体の縁部をメタルボンド砥石によって所定の形状に研削しながら、前記所定の形状に研削された前記板状体の前記縁部と前記レジンボンド砥石の前記外周面とを相対的に押圧させて、前記レジンボンド砥石の前記外周面に前記研磨用溝を作製する、請求項1に記載の板状体の加工方法。
- 前記レジンボンド砥石の前記外周面を、前記板状体の前記縁部のうち角部を除く辺部に押圧させて前記研磨用溝を作製する、請求項1又は2に記載の板状体の加工方法。
- 前記レジンボンド砥石のボンドは、フェノール、エポキシ、ポリイミド、ポリウレタン、シリコーン、ブチルゴム、又は天然ゴムであり、
前記レジンボンド砥石の砥粒は、ダイヤモンド、立方晶窒化ホウ素(CBN)、アルミナ(Al2O3)、炭化ケイ素(SiC)、軽石、又はガーネットであり、
前記板状体はガラス板である、請求項1、2又は3に記載の板状体の加工方法。 - 前記板状体は、厚さが0.7mm以下のガラス板である、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の板状体の加工方法。
