Description
このような回転翼の回転により粒子に作用する遠心力および上昇力により、貯留槽中の粒子に、渦巻状をなす曲線で流れる曲線流(渦巻流)が形成され、この曲線流により、粒子同士が分散・混合される。
(1) 分散・混合すべき粒子を貯留する貯留槽と、該貯留槽の底部に回転可能に配置された回転翼とを有する攪拌装置であって、
前記回転翼は、前記貯留槽の底部で回転する際に中心に位置するハブ部と、該ハブ部から放射状に突出して設けられた複数の羽根部とを備え、
前記羽根部は、正角柱が延伸する延伸方向に対して直交する直交方向に捻られたものであり、
前記粒子のうち最大粒径を有するものの直径をA[mm]とし、前記直交方向における縦断面に形成される多角形の各辺の長さをB[mm]としたとき、1<B/Aなる関係を満足することを特徴とする攪拌装置。
<<第1実施形態>>
図1は、本発明の攪拌装置の第1実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は、図1に示す攪拌装置が備える回転翼の斜視図(図2(a)は、回転翼の斜視図、図2(b)は、図2(a)に示す二点鎖線で囲まれた領域を部分的に拡大した部分拡大斜視図)、図3は、図1に示す攪拌装置において回転翼の固定箇所を部分的に拡大した部分拡大縦断面図である。なお、以下の説明では、説明の便宜上、図1〜3中の上側を「上」、下側を「下」と言う。
この駆動部80は、回転翼70の中心から軸線に沿ってその下方へ延設された回転軸(第1の回転軸)90と、この回転軸90の下端に接続されかつ回転軸90をその軸周りに回転させるモーター(第1のモーター)81とを有し、モーター81を回転させることにより、回転軸90を介して、回転翼70を回転させる。
すなわち、粒子供給部20を介して、貯留槽30の内部に、粒子を供給する。
すなわち、制御部15は、駆動部80の作動を制御することにより、回転軸90を回転させ、この回転により、回転軸90に連結する回転翼70を貯留槽30の底面33で回転させる。
以下、本発明の攪拌装置の第2実施形態について説明する。
(実施例)
回転翼70が、図2に示すように、羽根部72として、四角柱が前記直交方向に捻られたものを備える、攪拌装置を実施例の攪拌装置として用意した。
回転翼70Bが、図5に示すように、羽根部72Bとして、その先端に上方に湾曲した湾曲部73Bと、粒子をすくい上げる傾斜面74Bとを有するものを備える、攪拌装置を比較例の攪拌装置として用意した。
攪拌装置を用いて分散・混合すべき粉体(粒子)として、アルミナ粉体(比重:3.60、平均粒径:3.0mm)と、SUS粉体(比重:7.93、平均粒径:3.0mm)とを、これらの粉体の数がほぼ同数となるように用意した。
<1> まず、実施例および比較例の攪拌装置について、それぞれ、攪拌装置の貯留槽を平面視で視た際に、その左側半分にアルミナ粉体を配置し、さらに、右側半分にSUS粉体を配置した。

- 分散・混合すべき粒子を貯留する貯留槽と、該貯留槽の底部に回転可能に配置された回転翼とを有する攪拌装置であって、
前記回転翼は、前記貯留槽の底部で回転する際に中心に位置するハブ部と、該ハブ部から放射状に突出して設けられた複数の羽根部とを備え、
前記羽根部は、正角柱が延伸する延伸方向に対して直交する直交方向に捻られたものであり、
前記粒子のうち最大粒径を有するものの直径をA[mm]とし、前記直交方向における縦断面に形成される多角形の各辺の長さをB[mm]としたとき、1<B/Aなる関係を満足することを特徴とする攪拌装置。 - 前記羽根部は、四角柱が前記直交方向に捻られたものである請求項1に記載の攪拌装置。
- 前記羽根部は、前記貯留槽の底面に沿って、前記ハブ部に配設されている請求項1または2に記載の攪拌装置。
