Claims (7)
- (a)中実の誘電体と、
(b)該誘電体の周囲を被覆する外部導体とを備え、
(c)前記誘電体の横断面は、長方形であって、一対の長辺が外方に膨らんだ形状を有し、
(d)前記外部導体の内面は、前記誘電体の外面に密着していることを特徴とする導波体。 - 前記誘電体は、押出成形法によって製造された連続する棒状乃至線状の部材である請求項1に記載の導波体。
- 前記外部導体は、フィルム状の平板導体をフォーミング加工によって前記誘電体の周囲に被覆させた連続する中空パイプ状の部材である請求項1又は2に記載の導波体。
- 前記フォーミング加工によって、前記平板導体は、前記誘電体とともに進行させられつつ、前記誘電体を両側から包むように漸次変形し、左右の側縁が前記誘電体の進行方向に延在する直線状の接合部で接合し、前記誘電体の周囲に密着した中空パイプ状の外部導体となる請求項3に記載の導波体。
- 前記誘電体は、第1誘電体と、該第1誘電体の両側に積層された第2誘電体とから成る請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の導波体。
- 前記第1誘電体の屈折率は、前記第2誘電体の屈折率よりも大きい請求項5に記載の導波体。
- 前記誘電体は、内部に埋込まれた内部導体を含み、該内部導体は、前記誘電体の横断面の長辺に対応する外面に露出した面が前記外部導体の内面に密着している請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の導波体。
