Claims (20)
- 電池ケースの開放された一面に装着されて電池ケースを密閉するキャップ組立体であって、
第1結合部、前記第1結合部から延長形成されている第1外周部、及び前記第1外周部に形成される第1ガス排出部を含む電流遮断部材と、
一面は前記第1結合部と結合され、他面には前記第1結合部と結合された前記一面の反対方向に隆起している隆起部を含む第2結合部、前記第2結合部から延長形成されている第2外周部、及び前記第2外周部に形成される第2ガス排出部を含む安全ベントと、
を含み、
前記隆起部は、前記第1結合部と前記第2結合部との結合方向から見たとき、前記第1結合部と前記第2結合部との間の結合部分と重畳するように形成されていることを特徴とする、キャップ組立体。 - 前記第2結合部の最大厚さは、電流遮断部材の前記第1結合部の最小厚さを基準として1.5倍以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第2結合部の最大厚さは、電流遮断部材の前記第1結合部の最小厚さを基準として2倍〜5倍の範囲内であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第1結合部は、前記第1外周部を基準として前記第2結合部の一面方向に突出または折り曲げられている突出部または折曲部を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第2結合部は、一面と他面の面積が、前記一面と対向する前記第1結合部の対面の面積に比べて大きいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第2結合部は、非隆起部を含むことができ、前記非隆起部の平均厚さは、前記第1結合部の最小厚さを基準として1倍以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第1結合部と第2結合部との結合は溶接によって行われることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記溶接は、超音波溶接、レーザー溶接、抵抗溶接及びアーク溶接からなる群から選択される1つまたは2つ以上であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第1結合部と前記第2結合部との結合によって、断面視で、前記第1結合部から前記第2結合部の前記隆起部内に突出した溶接部が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記隆起部の下面の面積は、前記一面と対向する前記第1結合部の対面の面積を基準として1倍以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 電解液またはガスの漏洩経路が前記隆起部内にのみ形成されて外部環境と遮断されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 電流遮断部材用ガスケット(gasket)をさらに含み、前記電流遮断部材用ガスケットは、電流遮断部材の前記第1外周部に装着される第3結合部、及び前記第3結合部に形成され、前記第1ガス排出部及び前記第2ガス排出部と連通する第3ガス排出部を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第2外周部は、前記第2結合部の周縁から折り曲げられている隔壁部、及び前記隔壁部の周縁から折り曲げられている外郭部を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第2ガス排出部は、前記第2結合部と隔壁部の折曲部位の第2溝部、及び隔壁部と外郭部の折曲部位に形成された第1溝部を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第1ガス排出部は、前記第1外周部を貫通する貫通孔(hole)であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記第3ガス排出部は、前記第3結合部を貫通する貫通孔(hole)であることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 前記キャップ組立体は、電流遮断部材、電流遮断部材用ガスケット、安全ベント、PTC素子、及び1つ以上のガス排出口が形成されているトップキャップの積層構造からなっており、前記積層構造の外周面にガスケットがさらに装着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のキャップ組立体。
- 請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のキャップ組立体が、電極積層体と電解質が内蔵されている電池ケースの開放された一面に装着されている、電気化学セル。
- 前記電極積層体は、正極、負極及び分離膜を含み、正極と負極との間に分離膜が介在している積層構造を含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の電気化学セル。
- 請求項18に記載の電気化学セルを電源として使用するデバイス。
