Claims (7)
- 直列に接続された複数の電池セルを所定数の集合とした複数の電池セル群と、
複数の前記電池セル群毎に設けられ、対応する前記電池セル群の電池電圧を測定する複数の半導体装置と、
を備え、
前記半導体装置は、対応する前記電池セル群の電池電圧を測定する測定手段と、
第1の電圧範囲の駆動電圧が供給され、自装置が測定する電池セル群よりも上位の電池セル群を測定する前記自装置の動作電圧よりも高い動作電圧で動作する上位の半導体装置が存在する場合に、前記上位の半導体装置と通信を行うことが可能な上位通信手段と、
第2の電圧範囲の駆動電圧が供給され、前記自装置が測定する電池セル群よりも下位の電池セル群を測定する前記自装置の動作電圧よりも低い動作電圧で動作する下位の半導体装置が存在する場合に、前記下位の半導体装置と通信を行うことが可能な下位通信手段と、
前記上位通信手段の前記第1の電圧範囲と前記下位通信手段の前記第2の電圧範囲とを相互変換し、前記上位通信手段から入力された上位通信信号を下位通信信号に変換して前記下位通信手段に出力可能であり、かつ前記下位通信手段から入力された下位通信信号を上位通信信号に変換して前記上位通信手段に出力することが可能な通信レベル変換手段と、
を有しており、
前記半導体装置同士の通信における最上段の前記半導体装置は、前記上位通信手段の前記第1の電圧範囲を検出し、所定の電圧範囲よりも狭い場合に前記通信レベル変換手段が前記下位通信手段に出力する前記下位通信信号のレベルを決定する信号レベル決定手段をさらに有しており、
前記最上段の半導体装置における前記第1の電圧範囲は、その他の前記半導体装置の前記第1の電圧範囲よりも狭い所定の電圧範囲に設定されていることを特徴とする電池監視システム。 - 前記通信レベル変換手段は、前記上位通信手段から入力される前記上位通信信号に応じた電流に基づいた、前記第2の電圧範囲に応じた電圧が入力されるインバータを備え、前記信号レベル決定手段は、前記インバータの入力電圧を所定の電圧とすることにより、前記下位通信信号のレベルを決定する、請求項1に記載の電池監視システム。
- 前記半導体装置同士の通信における最上段の前記半導体装置の前記第1の電圧範囲は、前記上位通信手段が駆動するための駆動電圧以下であり、前記上位通信手段は駆動していない、請求項1または請求項2に記載の電池監視システム。
- 前記信号レベル決定手段は、全ての半導体装置が有している、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の電池監視システム。
- 前記電池セル群の電池電圧の測定を制御する制御手段を備え、
前記半導体装置は、前記制御手段の制御により、前記電池セル群の電池電圧の測定を実行する、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の電池監視システム。 - 前記制御手段は、最下位の電池セル群を測定する前記半導体装置に対して前記電池電圧の測定を実行させるための制御信号を出力し、当該制御信号は、前記半導体装置を介して、上位の電池セル群を測定する前記半導体装置に順次通信される、請求項5に記載の電池監視システム。
- 第1の電圧範囲の駆動電圧が供給され、直列に接続された複数の電池セルを所定数の集合とした複数の電池セル群毎に設けられた複数の半導体装置のうちの一つである自装置が測定する電池セル群よりも上位の電池セル群を測定する前記自装置の動作電圧よりも高い動作電圧で動作する上位の半導体装置が存在する場合に、前記上位の半導体装置と通信を行うことが可能な上位通信手段と、
第2の電圧範囲の駆動電圧が供給され、前記自装置が測定する電池セル群よりも下位の電池セル群を測定する前記自装置の動作電圧よりも低い動作電圧で動作する下位の半導体装置が存在する場合に、前記下位の半導体装置と通信を行うことが可能な下位通信手段と、
前記上位通信手段の前記第1の電圧範囲と前記下位通信手段の前記第2の電圧範囲との相互変換を行い、前記上位通信手段から入力された上位通信信号を下位通信信号に変換して前記下位通信手段に出力可能であり、かつ前記下位通信手段から入力された下位通信信号を上位通信信号に変換して前記上位通信手段に出力することが可能な通信レベル変換手段と、
前記上位通信手段の前記第1の電圧範囲を検出し、所定の電圧範囲よりも狭い場合に前記通信レベル変換手段が前記下位通信手段に出力する前記下位通信信号のレベルを決定する信号レベル決定手段と、
を備えた半導体装置。
