Claims (10)
- 液晶パネルと、
複数の光源からなる光源群が第1側部とこれに対向する第2側部とに配置された導光体を少なくとも1以上有し、前記液晶パネルに光を照射するバックライトと、
前記光源群が分けられた複数のサブ光源群のそれぞれに対して設けられ、前記各サブ光源群に含まれる前記光源が共通に接続された共通配線と、
複数の前記共通配線のうち1つが接続され、接続された当該共通配線に駆動パルスを供給する光源駆動部と、
を備え、
前記各サブ光源群は、前記第1側部の光源と前記第2側部の光源とを少なくとも1つずつ含み、かつ、同一の前記サブ光源群に属する前記第1側部の光源と前記第2側部の光源とは正対しておらず、
複数の前記共通配線のうち、前記光源駆動部に接続された前記共通配線以外の前記各共通配線は、1つ又は複数の遅延回路を介して、前記光源駆動部に接続された前記共通配線に接続されており、
前記各サブ光源群は、それぞれ異なるタイミングで前記駆動パルスが供給される表示装置。 - 前記光源駆動部は、前記駆動パルスのパルス幅を変更することにより、前記各サブ光源群の光量を変更する請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記液晶パネルに供給される映像信号に基づき映像の明るさを検出する明るさ検出部を備え、
前記光源駆動部は、前記明るさ検出部により検出された前記明るさに応じて、前記光量を変更する請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記光源駆動部は、前記映像の明るさが暗いほど、前記光量を低下させる請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 前記光源駆動部は、前記各サブ光源群に対して前記駆動パルスを一定の周期で供給する請求項4記載の表示装置。
- 前記光源駆動部は、前記光量を最大とする場合に、前記駆動パルスのパルス幅を前記周期に一致させる請求項5に記載の表示装置。
- 前記バックライトには、前記導光体が複数設けられており、
前記明るさ検出部は、前記映像信号に基づいて前記各導光体に対応する領域の明るさを検出し、
前記光源駆動部は、前記明るさ検出部により検出された前記明るさに応じて、前記導光体毎に前記光量を変更する請求項3に記載の表示装置。 - 前記映像信号の輝度情報を、前記光量の変更量に応じてゲイン補正する映像信号補正部と、
前記映像信号補正部によりゲイン補正された前記映像信号に基づいて前記液晶パネルを駆動する液晶駆動部と、
を備える請求項3に記載の表示装置。 - 液晶パネルと、
複数の光源からなる光源群が1つの側部にのみ配置された導光体を少なくとも1以上有し、前記液晶パネルに光を照射するバックライトと、
前記光源群が分けられた複数のサブ光源群のそれぞれに対して設けられ、前記各サブ光源群に含まれる前記光源が共通に接続された共通配線と、
複数の前記共通配線のうち1つが接続され、接続された当該共通配線に駆動パルスを供給する光源駆動部と、
を備え、
前記複数の光源のうち隣接する2つの前記光源は、同一の前記サブ光源群には含まれておらず、
複数の前記共通配線のうち、前記光源駆動部に接続された前記共通配線以外の前記各共通配線は、1つ又は複数の遅延回路を介して、前記光源駆動部に接続された前記共通配線に接続されており、
前記各サブ光源群は、それぞれ異なるタイミングで前記駆動パルスが供給される表示装置。 - 液晶パネルと、
複数の光源からなる光源群が第1側部とこれに対向する第2側部とに配置された導光体を少なくとも1以上有し、前記液晶パネルに光を照射するバックライトと、
前記光源群が分けられた複数のサブ光源群のそれぞれに対して設けられ、前記各サブ光源群に含まれる前記光源が共通に接続された共通配線と、
複数の前記共通配線のうち1つが接続され、接続された当該共通配線に駆動パルスを供給する光源駆動部と、
を備え、
前記各サブ光源群は、前記第1側部の光源と前記第2側部の光源とを少なくとも1つずつ含み、かつ、同一の前記サブ光源群に属する前記第1側部の光源と前記第2側部の光源とは正対しておらず、
複数の前記共通配線のうち、前記光源駆動部に接続された前記共通配線以外の前記各共通配線は、1つ又は複数の遅延回路を介して、前記光源駆動部に接続された前記共通配線に接続されており、
前記各サブ光源群は、それぞれ異なるタイミングで前記駆動パルスが供給されるファインダ装置。
