Description
即ち、パティキュレートフィルタの強制再生時のフィードバック制御が正常に行われていたならば、入口排気温度の計算値と温度センサの実測値とは同じように増減するのが当然であるが、パティキュレートフィルタの入口排気温度の計算値と温度センサの実測値の夫々が逆向きに増減するのは明らかに異常な事象であり、ましてや、その増加側が高温側閾値を上まわり且つ減少側が低温側閾値を下まわるということは、単なる外乱による一時的な変動ではないことを示しているので、フィードバック制御に異常が生じていることが確定されることになる。

Claims (1)
- 前段に酸化触媒を付帯装備し且つ該酸化触媒の上流側で燃料添加弁により燃料を添加されて該燃料が前記酸化触媒上で酸化反応した時の反応熱により捕集済みパティキュレートを燃焼除去する強制再生が行われるようにしたパティキュレートフィルタの再生異常判定装置であって、前記パティキュレートフィルタの入口排気温度を検出する温度センサと、前記パティキュレートフィルタの入口排気温度を強制再生時に再生目標温度に保持するべく該再生目標温度近辺の所定温度範囲で前記温度センサの実測値に基づき前記燃料添加弁の燃料添加噴射量をフィードバック制御する制御装置とを備え、前記燃料添加弁への指示噴射量に基づき模擬計算したパティキュレートフィルタの入口排気温度の計算値と前記温度センサの実測値の夫々が逆向きに増減して増加側が高温側閾値を上まわり且つ減少側が低温側閾値を下まわった時にフィードバック制御に異常が生じていると判定するように前記制御装置を構成したことを特徴とするパティキュレートフィルタの再生異常判定装置。
