Claims (7)
- 天井又は壁を形成するための吸音パネルであって、
前記パネルは1.27センチメートル(1/2インチ)以上の呼び厚さを有して矩形領域にわたって広がり、
前記パネルは石膏を主原料とする芯を有し、
前記芯は、それぞれの面積がパネルの面積と略等しい前面と後面を有し、
前記芯は前記前面と後面との間に延伸する複数の穿孔を有し、
前記穿孔は前記芯の全領域にわたって略均一に分布され、前記芯の前面と後面において開口し、
前記芯の前面は、前記穿孔を完全には隠蔽することができない半透明の多孔質層からなる前面シートによって被覆され、
前記芯の後面は、多孔質の後面シートによって前記穿孔を部分的に閉鎖し、
前記芯の前面の前面シート及びパネルの接合部に塗布された接合化合物とは架橋を形成しない水性の吸音塗料が湿重量で40〜160g/929cm2(1平方フィート)の割合で塗布されており、
前記前面シートが前記割合で前記吸音塗料が塗布された状態で、前記吸音パネルの前面は、外見上無孔であり、
前記パネルは、前記芯の前面シートの前記多孔質層と接合化合物が前記吸音塗料によって塗装された状態で、0.50以上のNRCを発揮することを特徴とする吸音パネル。
- 前記吸音パネルの長手縁には、接合テープ及び接合化合物を受け入れるためにわずかにテーパーが付いていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の吸音パネル。
- 前記吸音パネルは、1.22メートル(4フィート)の呼び幅と、2.44メートル(8フィート)以上の呼び長さを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の吸音パネル。
- 吸音一枚板状天井又は壁の構成体であって、
離間した平行支持要素の略平坦なグリッドと、
その後面において、前記支持要素間の空間を橋渡しするようにして該支持要素に固定される複数の吸音パネルと、を含み、
前記パネルが隣接するパネルとの間に接合部を形成し、該接合部はそれぞれ支持要素に重なり合い、各パネルは、該パネルの厚さの大部分を占める石膏芯を有し、前記芯はその略全域に分布された多数の離間した穿孔を有し、
前記パネルの後面において、前記芯の穿孔は開口しているか又は部分的にのみ開口し、
前記パネル前面において前記穿孔を完全には隠蔽することができない半透明の多孔質層が前記芯の穿孔を被覆し、
前記接合部は、前記多孔質層上から貼られたテープ及び/又は塗装された接合化合物を有し、
前記接合部の前記テープ及び/又は接合化合物を含むパネル全面にわたって、湿重量で40〜160g/929cm2(1平方フィート)の割合で塗装される連続したノンブロッキングの音響的透明塗料によって、隠蔽され、
前記多孔質層の吸音上の有効空隙率は、前記構成が0.50以上のNRCを発揮するように維持されることを特徴とする吸音一枚板状天井又は壁の構成体。
- 吸音一枚板状天井又は壁の構成体であって、
離間した平行支持要素の略平坦なグリッドと、
その後面において、前記支持要素間の空間を橋渡しするようにして該支持要素に固定される複数の吸音パネルと、を含み、
前記パネルが隣接するパネルとの間に接合部を形成し、該接合部はそれぞれ支持要素に重なり合い、各パネルは、該パネルの厚さの大部分を占める石膏芯を有し、前記芯はその略全域に分布された多数の離間した穿孔を有し、
多孔質の不織布でなる半透明の生地層が芯の前面において前記穿孔を被覆し、
吸音性の不織布でなる生地が各パネルの後面に積層されてパネルの後面を形成し、
前記前面におけるパネル同士の接合部は、接合部を含む天井パネル全面にわたって、湿重量で40〜160g/929cm 2 (1平方フィート)の割合で塗装される連続したノンブロッキングの音響的透明塗料による塗装によって、隠蔽され、
前記ノンブロッキングの音響的透明塗料による塗装は、前記穿孔を隠蔽する多孔質で不織布でできた半透明の生地層と相まって、前記構成が0.50以上のNRCを発揮するよう、芯の前面における多孔質不織布層に十分な空隙率を残すことを特徴とする吸音一枚板状天井又は壁の構成体。 - 乾式壁材シートに用いる吸音パネルであって、
前記乾式壁材シートは、1.27センチメートル(1/2インチ)以上の厚さを有し、石膏を主原料とする芯と、紙製の前面層及び後面層とを有し、
前記前面層及び後面層と芯を貫通するよう穿孔され、孔は直径3.18ミリメートル(1/8インチ)以上であり、かつパネルの面の面積の9%以上を占めるに十分な数設けられ、
前記前面は、前記孔の完全な隠蔽を不可能にする半透明性を有する多孔質の不織ガラス繊維膜によって被覆され、
前記膜は湿重量で40〜160g/929cm2(1平方フィート)の割合で塗装される非架橋性コーティングによって被覆することができ、前記膜と塗装との組み合わせが前記孔の隠蔽に有効であり、かつパネルに0.55以上のNRCを発揮させるのに十分な空隙率を提供することを特徴とする吸音パネル。
- 前記後面層が吸音性不織布によって被覆されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の吸音パネル。
