Description

Claims (21)
- スピーカアレイを駆動させる方法であって、
前記スピーカアレイからの聴取者の距離を検出することと、
前記スピーカアレイからの前記聴取者の前記検出された距離に基づき、オーディオチャネルのビームパターン指向性指標を算出し、前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標が既定の直接対反響サウンド比を維持することと、
前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標を用いて、前記スピーカアレイを通じて前記オーディオチャネルを再生することと、
を含むことを特徴とする、スピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。 - 前記聴取者の前記検出された距離が変化している間、前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標が既定の直接対反響サウンド比を維持することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のスピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。
- 前記既定の直接対反響サウンド比が前記オーディオチャネルのコンテンツに基づき変化することを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のスピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。
- 前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標を用いて前記オーディオチャネルを再生することが、
前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標に基づき1つ以上のビームパターンを出力することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のスピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。 - 前記ビームパターン指向性指標が前記1つ以上のビームパターンの横幅を示すことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のスピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。
- 前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の前記距離が減少した時に前記ビームパターンの前記幅が増加し、かつ前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の前記距離が増加した時に前記ビームパターンの前記幅が減少することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のスピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。
- 前記スピーカアレイからの前記聴取者の前記距離を検出することが、(1)ユーザ入力機器、(2)マイクロフォン、(3)赤外線センサ及び(4)カメラのうちの1つによって実行されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のスピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。
- 前記聴取者に向けた一定のサウンド圧力を維持するために、前記オーディオチャネルの音量を調整することを更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のスピーカアレイを駆動させる方法。
- 聴取者とスピーカアレイとの間の距離を検出する距離推定器と、
前記スピーカアレイによって放出されるビームパターンの指向性指標を、前記検出された距離に基づき算出する指向性補償器であって、既定の直接対反響サウンド比を維持するために前記指向性指標を算出する前記指向性補償器と、
オーディオチャネルに対する前記算出された指向性指標を有するビームパターンを放出するように前記スピーカアレイを駆動させるアレイプロセッサと、
を備えることを特徴とする、指向性調整機器。 - 前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の複数の異なる距離に対して前記指向性補償器が、既定の直接対反響サウンド比を維持するために前記指向性指標を算出することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の指向性調整機器。
- 前記既定の直接対反響サウンド比が前記オーディオチャネルのコンテンツに基づき変化することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の指向性調整機器。
- 前記ビームパターン指向性指標が前記ビームパターンの横幅を示すことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の指向性調整機器。
- 前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の前記距離が減少した時に前記ビームパターンの前記幅が増加し、かつ前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の前記距離が増加した時に前記ビームパターンの前記幅が減少することを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の指向性調整機器。
- 前記距離推定器が前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の前記距離を検出することを支援する(1)ユーザ入力機器、(2)マイクロフォン、(3)赤外線センサ及び(4)カメラのうちの1つを更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の指向性調整機器。
- コンピュータ内のプロセッサによって実行された時に、前記コンピュータに、
スピーカアレイに対する聴取者のロケーションを判別させ、
前記スピーカアレイに対する前記聴取者の前記検出されたロケーションに基づきオーディオチャネルのビームパターン指向性指標を算出させ、前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標が既定の直接対反響サウンド比を維持し、
前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標を用いて、前記スピーカアレイを通じて前記オーディオチャネルを再生させる
命令を記憶する機械可読記憶媒体を備えることを特徴とする、プログラム。 - 前記スピーカアレイに関して前記聴取者の異なる位置に対して前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標が既定の直接対反響サウンド比を維持することを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のプログラム。
- 前記既定の直接対反響サウンド比が前記オーディオチャネルのコンテンツに基づき変化することを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のプログラム。
- 前記オーディオチャネルを再生するために前記プロセッサによって実行される命令が前記算出されたビームパターン指向性指標に基づき、1つ以上のビームパターンを出力するための命令を含むことを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のプログラム。
- 前記ビームパターン指向性指標が前記1つ以上のビームパターンの横幅を示すことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載のプログラム。
- 前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の前記距離が減少した時に前記ビームパターンの前記幅が増加し、かつ前記聴取者と前記スピーカアレイとの間の前記距離が増加した時に前記ビームパターンの前記幅が減少することを特徴とする、請求項19に記載のプログラム。
- 前記スピーカアレイに対する前記聴取者の前記ロケーションを判別することが、(1)ユーザ入力機器、(2)マイクロフォン、(3)赤外線センサ及び(4)カメラのうちの1つによって実行されることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のプログラム。
