Claims (2)
- プリンタであって、
水性インクを射出するように構成された印字ヘッドと、
中間画像表面を有する回転部材であって、前記回転部材は前記印字ヘッドの前で前記中間画像表面を回転させるように設置されて、前記印字ヘッドが前記中間画像表面上にインクを射出して、印刷サイクルの間に水性インク画像を形成できるようにする回転部材と、
前記中間画像表面上に射出した水性インク画像を少なくとも部分的に乾燥させるように構成された乾燥器と、
前記中間画像表面とともにニップを形成して、媒体が前記ニップを通り抜けるときに、前記中間画像表面上の前記少なくとも部分的に乾燥した水性インク画像が前記媒体の方へ移動できるように構成された転写ローラと、
電場を発生させて、励起された粒子を作り出して前記中間画像表面の方へ導くように構成された表面エネルギーアプリケータであって、前記表面エネルギーアプリケータは、前記水性インクを前記媒体に転写した後、および前記励起された粒子で処理する前記中間画像表面上に前記印字ヘッドが水性インクを射出する前に、前記励起された粒子を前記中間画像表面の方へ導くように設置される、表面エネルギーアプリケータと、
前記中間画像表面の画像データを生成するように設置された光学センサと、
前記光学センサと前記表面エネルギーアプリケータとに動作接続されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラは、前記光学センサが生成した前記画像データを処理して、前記中間画像表面上のインク滴に関するインク滴の広がりを測定し、前記測定されたインク滴の広がりが所定の閾値よりも小さいことに呼応して、前記表面エネルギーアプリケータに供給する電力を調整するように構成される、コントローラと、を含むプリンタ。 - 前記コントローラは、前記測定されたインク滴の広がりが他の所定の閾値よりも大きいことに呼応して、前記表面エネルギーアプリケータに供給する電力を調整するようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
