Description
本開示は、2013年3月27日に米国特許商標庁に出願された、「可変角度EMI遮蔽アセンブリ(Variable Angle EMI Shielding Assembly)」と題される、先行出願された米国仮特許出願第61/805,558号に対する優先権を主張する。前述の特許出願の内容は、本明細書にその全体が完全に組み込まれる。
Claims (18)
- コネクタおよびそれに終端されるケーブルに遮蔽を提供するための遮蔽アセンブリであって、
筐体部分であって、複数の側壁および対向する装着端および嵌合端を含み、前記側壁が回路基板に装着されるように構成されたコネクタ用の中空エンクロージャを協働的に画定する、筐体部分と、
結合部分であって、中空管状部材ならびに対向する装着端および嵌合端を含む、結合部分と、を備え、
前記筐体部分が、該筐体部分の装着端に近接して4面構成を有し、前記筐体部分が、該筐体部分の嵌合端に近接して円形構成を有し、
前記結合部分および筐体部分の嵌合端が、前記結合部分が複数の配向のうちの予め選択された1つで前記筐体部分に嵌合されることを可能にする相互係合要素を含む、遮蔽アセンブリ。 - 前記筐体部分が、2つの相互に係合する半体を含み、一方の半体が中に配置される係合タブを含み、他方の半体が中に前記係合タブを受容する係合開口部を含む、請求項1に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記筐体部分が、前記中空エンクロージャ内に内向きに延在する少なくとも1つのコンタクトアームを含み、該コンタクトアームが、前記筐体部分がコネクタ周囲の回路基板に装着されたときに、前記中空エンクロージャ内に配置されるコネクタと接触するように構成される、請求項1に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記筐体部分の側壁内に形成され、前記中空エンクロージャ内に延在する複数のコンタクトアームをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記筐体部分の嵌合端がカラーを含み、前記結合部分の嵌合端がプラグ端を含み、該プラグ端が前記カラーと係合する、請求項1に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記結合部分の嵌合端のプラグ端が前記カラー内に収まる、請求項5に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記相互係合要素が、前記筐体部分および結合部分の嵌合端のうちの一方の上に配置される複数の係合タブと、前記筐体部分および結合部分の嵌合端のうちの他方の中に配置される複数の係合開口部と、を含む、請求項1に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記係合タブおよび係合開口部が、介在する角度離間によって分離される、前記筐体部分および結合部分の嵌合端の周囲に円形離間で配置される、請求項7に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記係合タブおよび係合開口部が約45°離間する、請求項8に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記係合タブおよび係合開口部が約90°離間する、請求項8に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記係合タブおよび係合開口部が約60°離間する、請求項8に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記係合タブおよび係合開口部が一様に離間する、請求項8に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記結合部分の装着端が圧着バンドを含む、請求項5に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 回路基板上に装着されたコネクタおよび該コネクタに終端されたワイヤを含むケーブルに遮蔽を提供するための遮蔽アセンブリであって、
筐体部分であって、前記コネクタ用の中空エンクロージャを協働的に画定する複数の側壁と、前記筐体部分を前記回路基板に装着するための装着端と、対向する嵌合端とを含む、筐体部分と、
結合部分であって、中空管状部材と、前記結合部分を前記ケーブルに装着するための装着端と、対向する嵌合端と、を含む、結合部分と、を備え、
前記筐体部分の装着端が、長方形断面を含み、
前記結合部分の嵌合端が、円形断面を含み、
前記筐体部分の嵌合端が、円形断面を含み、
前記筐体部分が、前記装着端と嵌合端との間に配置される移行部分を含み、
前記結合部分および筐体部分の嵌合端が、相互係合嵌合要素を含み、該相互係合嵌合要素が、前記筐体部分および結合部分の嵌合端のうちの一方の上に配置される複数の係合タブと、前記筐体部分および結合部分の嵌合端のうちの他方の上に配置される複数の係合開口部と、を含み、前記結合部分が複数の配向のうちの予め選択された1つで前記筐体部分に嵌合されるように、係合タブが前記係合開口部によって係合され得る、遮蔽アセンブリ。 - 前記筐体部分の側壁が、前記中空エンクロージャの中に延在して前記コネクタと接地接触する、中に形成される少なくとも1つのコンタクトアームを含む、請求項14に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 1つの係合開口部が1つの係合タブと関連付けられるように、前記相互係合要素が対で配列され、該対の相互係合要素が円形パターンで配列され、介在する一様の離間によって分離される、請求項14に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記一様の離間が約45°である、請求項16に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
- 前記一様の離間が約90°である、請求項16に記載の遮蔽アセンブリ。
