Claims (8)
- 交流(AC)電源(52)と結合するように構成された入力コネクタ(50)と、
電気自動車(40)と結合するように構成された出力コネクタ(62)と、
1次側(102)および2次側(104)を備える可変出力変圧器(100)であって、前記1次側が、前記入力コネクタに結合され、前記2次側が、前記出力コネクタに結合さ
れた可変出力変圧器(100)と、
前記変圧器に結合され、前記電気自動車に供給するべき電圧レベルを求めるように構成されたコントローラ(110)とを備え、
前記コントローラ(110)が、前記電気自動車(40)から、最大電圧レベルに対応する電圧レベル信号を受け取るように構成されており、
前記電気自動車は、該電気自動車内の電動機(70)と電力コンバータ(74)との間に配置されたスイッチングデバイス(82)を含み、
前記スイッチングデバイス(82)は、該スイッチングデバイス(82)の動作に応じて、前記電力コンバータ(74)を前記可変出力変圧器(100)又は前記電動機(70)に選択的に接続する、
装置(20)。 - 前記可変出力変圧器(100)が複数のタップ(106)をさらに備え、前記出力コネクタ(62)が、ソリッドステートデバイスおよび電気機械デバイス(108)の少なくとも1つによって、前記複数のタップに選択的に結合され、前記電気自動車(40)に対して前記求められた電圧レベルを供給する請求項1記載の装置(20)。
- 前記コントローラ(110)が、
前記電圧レベル信号を伝送するように変調されたスイッチング周波数を受け取り、
前記変調されたスイッチング周波数を復調して、前記電気自動車(40)に供給するべき電圧のレベルを求めるように構成される請求項1または2に記載の装置(20)。 - 前記コントローラ(110)が、
前記電気自動車(40)に対して第1の電圧レベルでAC電力を供給し、
前記変圧器(100)の電力出力を測定し、
前記変圧器の前記電力出力が前記電気自動車によって制限されるまで、前記電気自動車に供給される前記AC電力の前記電圧レベルを上昇させるようにさらに構成される請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の装置(20)。 - 前記コントローラ(110)が、最大電流レベルを記憶するように構成されたメモリデバイス(114)を備え、前記コントローラが、
前記電気自動車(40)に対して第1の電圧レベルでAC電力を供給し、
前記電気自動車によって引き込まれる電流のレベルを測定し、
前記電気自動車によって引き込まれる前記電流のレベルが前記最大電流レベルと等しくなるまで、前記電気自動車に供給される前記AC電力の前記電圧レベルを上昇させるように構成される請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の装置(20)。 - 前記コントローラ(110)が、
前記AC電源(52)によって前記入力コネクタ(50)に供給される電力の電圧レベルおよび電流レベルの少なくとも1つに対応する電圧レベル信号および電流レベル信号の少なくとも1つを受け取り、
前記電圧レベル信号および電流レベル信号に基づいて利用可能な電力を求め、
前記利用可能な電力を、これも前記AC電源から電力を受け取る非車両充電負荷に必要とされる所定の電力レベルと比較し、
前記可変出力変圧器(100)の電力出力を、前記利用可能な電力レベルと前記所定の電力レベルの間の差に制限するように構成される請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の装置(20)。 - 前記出力コネクタ(62)が、電気自動車のコンバータ(74)と結合するように構成され、前記電気自動車のコンバータが、エネルギー蓄積デバイス(72)からのDC電力を、電気自動車のトラクションモータ(70)に給電するためのAC電力に変換し、前記可変出力変圧器(100)からのAC電力を、前記エネルギー蓄積デバイスを充電するためのDC電力に変換するように構成された双方向コンバータである請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の装置(20)。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の装置(20)と、
前記電気自動車と、
を含む、電気自動車充電システム。
