Claims (2)
- 三次元造形物の生成が可能な最大の範囲である造形領域を少なくとも覆うチャンバと、
前記チャンバ内の前記造形領域に配置され所望の三次元造形物を所定厚で分割してなる複数の各分割層毎に材料粉体が均一に撒布され材料粉体層が形成される造形テーブルと、
前記造形テーブルを取り囲みかつ前記造形テーブル上に供給された前記材料粉体を保持する粉体保持壁と、
前記材料粉体層上の前記分割層の輪郭形状で形成される所定の照射領域にレーザ光を照射して焼結層を形成するレーザ照射装置と、
前記造形領域の中心を原点とする前記レーザ照射装置のレーザ座標系における前記造形領域の水平1軸方向の制御軸X軸の最大値と最小値および前記X軸に直交する水平1軸方向の制御軸Y軸の最大値と最小値との4点の座標値を求めるとともに、前記輪郭形状にワークオフセット値を加算して決まる前記照射領域の前記X軸の最大値と最小値および前記Y軸の最大値と最小値との4点の座標値を求めて、前記造形領域と前記照射領域の前記X軸の各最大値同士、前記X軸の各最小値同士、前記Y軸の各最大値同士、前記Y軸の各最小値同士をそれぞれ比較し、前記造形領域の前記X軸の前記最大値が前記照射領域の前記X軸の前記最大値以上であり、かつ前記造形領域の前記Y軸の前記最大値が前記照射領域の前記Y軸の前記最大値以上であり、かつ前記造形領域の前記X軸の前記最小値が前記照射領域の前記X軸の前記最小値以下であり、かつ前記造形領域の前記Y軸の前記最小値が前記照射領域の前記Y軸の前記最小値以下であるときに前記分割層のすべての層において前記照射領域が前記造形領域に内包されると判断することによって、前記分割層のすべての層において前記照射領域が前記造形領域に内包されるかを少なくとも焼結前に確認する数値制御装置と、を備える積層造形装置。 - 前記チャンバ内を移動し前記焼結層の上面または前記造形テーブルに載置される造形プレートの上面を切削可能な切削工具を有する切削装置をさらに備え、
前記数値制御装置は、前記切削工具による切削対象となる領域である切削領域の前記X軸の最大値と最小値および前記Y軸の最大値と最小値との4点の座標値を求めるとともに、前記粉体保持壁で囲繞される領域を最大範囲とする切削可能領域の前記X軸の最大値と最小値および前記Y軸の最大値と最小値との4点の座標値を求めて、前記切削領域と前記切削可能領域の前記X軸の各最大値同士、前記X軸の各最小値同士、前記Y軸の各最大値同士、前記Y軸の各最小値同士をそれぞれ比較し、前記切削可能領域の前記X軸の前記最大値が前記切削領域の前記X軸の前記最大値以上であり、かつ前記切削可能領域の前記Y軸の前記最大値が前記切削領域の前記Y軸の前記最大値以上であり、かつ前記切削可能領域の前記X軸の前記最小値が前記切削領域の前記X軸の前記最小値以下であり、かつ前記切削可能領域の前記Y軸の前記最小値が前記切削領域の前記Y軸の前記最小値以下であるときに前記切削領域が前記切削可能領域に内包されると判断することによって、前記切削領域が前記切削可能領域に内包されるかを少なくとも切削前に確認することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の積層造形装置。
