Description
上述のように、本発明に係る溶射材料は、耐火性粉末と金属粉末の混合物に、特性を制御するための添加物を添加することで構成される。当該耐火性粉末には、珪石、珪石れんが粉、溶融シリカ、シャモット、コージエライト等を用途に応じて用いることができる。
本発明に係る溶射材料では、燃焼剤としての金属粉末が配合される。燃焼剤は、燃焼後に上述の耐火性粉体を結合する結合相を形成する酸化物となる。例えば、補修対象である被施工体がシリカ主体である珪石れんがからなる場合、当該燃焼剤として金属シリコン粉末を使用することができる。
本発明に係る溶射材料では、金属シリコン粉末の酸化反応に必要な初期の熱量を補助する機能を有する金属粉末の点火促進剤を必要に応じて配合できる。点火促進剤を配合することにより、被施工体温度が800℃以下の比較的低温である場合でも、溶射開始時の点火を促進することができる。
本発明に係る溶射材料では、溶射材料の燃焼中に酸素を供給して、被施工体上で、燃焼材である金属シリコン粉末を酸化させる機能を有する燃焼補助剤を必要に応じて配合することができる。燃焼補助剤は、燃焼剤である金属シリコン(金属粉末)に付着していると、被施工体に付着した際の受熱により酸素供給源となる金属酸化物の粉末からなる。
上述の各成分に加えて、金属シリコンが溶融した際のSiO2の粘度を低減させて溶射時の層間の一体性を向上させる目的で、純度90%以上のCaO粉末、純度90%以上のMgO粉末の1種以上を、主原料の全量に対して外掛けで4.0質量%を超えない範囲で添加することができる。添加量が4.0質量%を超えると、添加したCaO粉末やMgO粉末に起因する結合相の組成変化が大きくなり、珪石れんがとの熱膨張率の一致が図れなくなるため好ましくない。また、CaO粉末、MgO粉末の粒子径は200μm以下であることが好ましい。200μmを超えると結合相となるシリカと反応しにくく、粘度を低減させて層間の一体性を向上させる効果が期待できなくなるため好ましくない。

結晶化促進剤であるアルカリ金属イオン源として、リチウムを含有する珪酸塩又はリチウムを含有する珪酸塩鉱物を主原料に対して、外掛けで、Li2O換算で0.25〜0.7質量%添加し、かつアルカリ金属の炭酸塩及びアルカリ金属の硫酸塩の添加量が主原料に対して、外掛けで、0.2質量%未満であって、その他のアルカリ金属塩を含まないことを特徴とする溶射材料。
- 前記主原料が耐火性粉末及び金属シリコン粉末を含み、
耐火性粉末が、主原料の全量に対して80〜90質量%、
金属シリコン粉末が、主原料の全量に対して10〜20質量%
である、請求項1に記載の溶射材料。 - 点火促進剤として、鉄粉、マンガン粉、バナジウム粉、マグネシウム粉、チタン粉、あるいはこれらの合金の粉末から選ばれる1種又は2種以上を、主原料の全量に対して外掛けで0.1〜1.5質量%、さらに添加した、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の溶射材料。
- 燃焼補助剤として、遷移金属酸化物を、主原料の全量に対して外掛けで0.3〜2.0質量%、さらに添加した、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の溶射材料。
- 前記燃焼補助剤が、酸化スカンジウム、酸化チタン、酸化バナジウム、酸化クロム、酸化マンガン、酸化鉄、酸化コバルト、酸化ニッケル、酸化銅から選ばれる1種又は2種以上である、請求項4に記載の溶射材料。
